What a hotel! Situated upon the beautiful cliffside of Ascona and with unparalleled vies to the lake and mountains this well groomed property was genuinely wonderful. We enjoyed the amenities their very good restaurant and we impressed by their caring staff. The property is very well maintained and spotless.

We had booked a 5 night stay in the master suite at this fantastic hotel. Due to a great stay at our last visit in 2018, our expectations were high. But our expectations were more than fulfilled. Compared to our last stay, this time our stay was even more fantastic, just pure magic. This was due to the great and wonderfull food, the outstandig service from the amazing staff, and all the small improved details since last time all over the hotel. Furthermore the wonderful suite was upgraded with air con and the view was as usual fantastic to the lake. Thanks a lot to the wonderfull staff of Colinetta for a great stay and you all made our stay magic (again). We look forward to visit you again in 2024.

Suits in the back are specious have lovely garden view. Short walk to breakfast which we didn’t mind.

A gorgeous hotel set in quaint Ascona. A lovely pool and private access to the lake within a 4 minute walk make swimming and relaxing top of the list. Beautifully maintained gardens, spacious rooms (we were 2, but took a triple room and had ample space). Breakfast is superb and the wait staff are very attentive. If you’re looking for complete R and R, total relaxation, deep sleep and little distraction this is the place for you. If staying longer than 4 days you would want access to a car.

Lovely staff, very spacious rooms (the triple rooms have very spacious balconies). Breakfast was tasty - the eggs were fantastic. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again....

Tres bel hôtel avec jardin et une vue magnifique sur le lac . Nous y avons été très bien accueilli. Que ce soit à l’hôtel ou au restaurant, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse, l’efficacité et la discrétion du personnel. Notre chambre avec vue sur le lac était spacieuse et très calme. La cuisine est raffinée et les mets proposés sont délicieux ! Le buffet du petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Nous y avons séjourné 4 nuits et nous avons. Beaucoup aimé ce havre de paix et de bien être sur les bords du Lac Majeur !
