Accomodation was clean and good food albeit a little expensive. Went for a relaxing break but this was spoiled by dogs barking and dogs being allowed in the restaurant, not what you'd expect when paying over £150 per night.

Lovely staff and lovely food. The facilities were fantastic. The only negative was that the central heating was not on or didn’t work but the radiators remained cold so no warm towels and the room was cold. I heater was offered and accepted but never delivered.

Chose this hotel for nearness to Rye and a walk we wanted to do. It was a lucky find as it is a wonderful venue for a few days rest and recuperation. Th building is well maintained and the spa is well set out and of good standard

We booked this hotel several years for our anniversary and again this time! Nothing much has changed and the bathroom is still not heated! Apart from that everything was fine and the food has definitely improved! Compliments to the chefs and the dining room staff! Graham and Nicole Keehn

The hotel itself is stunning and very clean, the gardens are beautiful and the staff are so friendly. The spa is gorgeous and very well organised. Its a very relaxed a**osphere and we will definatly return. Thank you flackley ash

The property itself was lovely and the food especially breakfast was first class. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside was noisy neighbour but that was just unlucky .

Nice clean hotel nice staff food overpriced for the quality. Drinks also on expensive side. Spa nice but difficult to use hydro pool and swimming pool due to amount of people using the facilities

Disappointed that steam room not working, but staff amazing and room extremely good value.

Looking at various photos of rooms on the hotel website it would appear that some rooms have been fully refurbished. Our room (no 52) was adequate but being located over the gym we could hear people running on the treadmill or lifting weights fairly early in the morning. We found the mattress a little hard and the duvet a little on the thin side for this time of year. The room was clean but felt a in need of some TLC especially the bathroom.The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We would return but not to that particular room.
