Don’t be put off by negative reviews. We stayed here from 13th July for 4 nights and the only thing we can fault is the room not being cleaned. The room itself was very spacious and modern, we requested a pool view on booking and got one. The only negative thing we have to say is that the room didn’t get cleaned the whole time we were there but when we asked for fresh towels and bin bags there was no issue in getting them. The food and drinks here are reasonably priced and the portion sizes are big. The area that the hotel is in is a quiet area about 4 minute walk to Ayia Napa square which we found nice as you weren’t amongst the hustle and bustle constantly. The bar and housekeeping staff were amazing and very accommodating.
Very welcoming and respectful staff. Food was and is amazing. The staff are so polite and friendly. Nothing is a hassle. Hotel room was large and tastefully decorated as was the rest of the hotel. Would highly recommend a stay here!! The shows and attractions Are so close and the Freddie Mercury show ar the Queen Vic was great and the Stardust Show was out of this world!. All well presented. We can't thank Lorenzo and the team enough for their warm welcome. See you next year with a few more family we hope. :-)

The hotel has a really lovely atmosphere. Tranquil and relaxing. We chose this hotel due to the lounge area near the pool and bar as we prefer to sit in a chill environment opposed to a hotel with entertainment. On arrival we were shown our room. There was two paper bags each with a sandwich, apple and a carton of juice. This was a nice touch, but have had better in other hotels. The room was dated, as other guests have said. There was a funny, chemical smell in our room, the wooden furniture was blown from the condensation and the bath really needs to be replaced with a shower. Air-conditioning worked well and rooms were cleaned to an acceptable standard daily. Only niggles were the balcony was not swept so sand from the beach was there for our entire stay and mirrors were not wiped down. Our first night was peaceful, but the following night and then for the next four nights we had some very load neighbourhoods who were next to us and directly opposite. They were going out at 2am shouting and coming back crashing furniture, being sick, shouting and on one evening howling like wolves. I reported this to guest relations on the first night who took the room numbers but nothing changed. Luckily they went home after the fourth night and we just slept in the sun bed through the day. We were all inclusive and cannot complain about the quality of the food and drinks. The three restaurants were absolutely amazing, Peeper bar being our favourite. In the hotel the cocktails were superb, however, the service was slow and took us a while to change from the quick service expected in the UK to the chilled environment of the Soma Lounge. We did feel that guests who were paying received a better service than those who were all inclusive. They were served quicker, more frequently and with a more friendly manner. I found this annoying as we were still paying, but we had just prepaid. It felt like the staff had the opinion that we were not worthy of the same level of service. Sun-beds were not an issue during our stay, there were still many available at 9am. Obviously the best positions around the pool had been reserved with towels, but we didn’t mind. As we entered the second week of our holiday we noticed a change over of guest which changed the subbed reservation dynamics and people began to reserve sun-bed between 6-7am. If you went out in the morning you were unlikely to get a subbed on your return. The food in Cloister was always delicious. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and often remembered what drink you were having with your meal. We were only ever offered one, but had usually finished our meal and returned to the Soma Lounge for another. The surrounding area was pleasant, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Some enjoyable excursions and the beaches are stunning! I am glad we chose this hotel as it was right in the middle of everything and a beautiful, peaceful oasis inside. I am not sure that we would return to Ayia Napa again as we p

Recently returned after a lovely family holiday first time to Cyprus for all of us and weather did not disappoint. Hotel positives - very clean and modern with daily visits by the maids - reception staff very helpful providing extra pillows etc on request and able to give advice of the local area which was very central and ideal within walking distance of beaches, shops and nightlife - which was helpful due to the lack of entertainment at the hotel. Despite being advertised as having ‘regular evening entertainment’ this consisted of a background singer / duo on a Tuesday and Friday night. This did not cater to families who then had to resort to going out of the hotel to find alternative entertainment venues to suit a family - therefore not a particularly good use of the all inclusive package - which was a shame as the all inclusive drinks options was quite extensive compared to other places we have stayed offering a large range of cocktails, beers and spirits. During the day you had to be up pretty early to get a sun-bed in the pool area. The pool itself was lovely and warm which was an helpful as you were unable to leave children unsupervised due to the pool being all one depth. Unless you were over 5’7” you were unable stand up anywhere in the main pool therefore unable to play with the children - there is a very small seated / jacuzzi area at one end of the pool which got quite busy and an ankle deep raised area at one side but nothing in between for mid-age children or their under 5’7” parents! There is a very small children's pool with a slide however our youngest (5) preferred not to play in there due to the sheer capacity of children AND adults who took to sitting in there! Food - breakfast was as expected offering cereal, continental and cooked with the bonus of freshly made pancakes much to the delight of our children. Lunch - nice choices however we regularly ate from the snack bar as more accommodating for the family needs. Evening meals VERY repetitive with very little choice or variety for the children and even the adults becoming fed up after a few days ( thank goodness for mcdonalds which was literally next door) one very small improvement could be to offer ice cream as a dessert in the restaurant as other than fresh fruit there was nothing they would eat. While we would be unlikely to stay again with young children we would not rule out as returning as adults only holiday or much older children. Don’t want to end on a negative as we did enjoy our holiday and this was partly due to the stafff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in particular bar staff Eleni, Anna- Marie and the lifeguard / barman/ waiter Pari who spoke to us regularly and interacted well with the children ( he needs a pay rise as never stopped morning noon or night 😂)
What a fabulous surprise from start to finish. We arrived at 1.30am in the morning and were greeted with a friendly smile and glass of champagne. Check in was quick and easy. We travel a lot and our room was wonderful, one of the best we've stayed in. Very modern, a good size, a large balcony and with a seaview which we weren't expecting. All very clean. The hotel is kept spotless in every area, staff are all attentive and want you to enjoy your stay. Stayed B&B and loads of choice for breakfast, we had something different each day. Ate out in the evenings as we always do on holiday, but the restaurant looked very nice and was laid out lovely. I really cannot fault this hotel. It has such a nice calming relaxing feel to it and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely return. Outside, there are lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance without going into Protaras itself, and there's a lovely promenade to walk along by the sea. Local buses are good and cheap if you want to go into ayia napia but the hotel is such a lovely area to stay in. We rarely go to the same hotel twice but the AT Herbal, will definitely be an exception. Already recommended to friends and cannot wait to return
Where to start with this hotel. Excellent stay from start to finish. Hotel is quite new and everything is lovely and clean. Staff are absolutely brilliant and seem genuinely happy to be doing their jobs. All staff were really friendly without being too much. We had a deluxe pool view room which was great. Very comfortable bed and pillows, and excellent air conditioning (effective and quiet). Water was also provided in the room twice daily, along with all the usual tea and coffee. We had a couple of small issues in the room, such as no toilet roll or towels being left, but one call to reception and someone was at the door in 10 minutes. Pool and sunbathing area was great. They operate a sun bed reservation system, which if I am honest nearly stopped us from booking this hotel. We like to be in the sun and we had a concern we would not get great beds. How wrong we were - this took all the stress out of the usual constant reservation of sun beds at the crack of dawn. Didn’t matter if you had a late start or a leisurely breakfast, you knew your bed would be there. If you don’t like the initial beds you pick you can easily swap. You also get a couple of bottle of water and cool bag by the pool. We stayed bed and breakfast as we like to visit different restaurants. Breakfast was lovely with more than enough choice. You could also order poached eggs or omelettes at your table, and various different coffees. Haven’t been to Ayia Napa for about 10 years, but loved it just as much as last time. It’s not just for party animals - outside of the main square there are plenty of bars and restaurants for all ages. This hotel is ideally located. It’s quiet yet a 5 minute walk to where you need to be. 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. Will definitely return here - thank you for an amazing stay.
we stayed there for the first time! we were 3 families with children. The rooms were clean. Although the kitchen could have been more well equiped, i.e cuttlery, washing liquid. Our booking was half board and to our surprise there was not a buffet for dinner. We were given 2 options to choose from. Thus, we did asked them to cook sth else for us, and they were eagered to help and served what we liked to eat. The owner and all employees were extremely polite. walking distance to Nissi avenue and Ayia Napa's square. 3 mini markets are 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
SSightsee04565800601Absolutely beautiful Hotel which never fails to disappoint. Hotel is spotlessly clean thanks to the wonderful Housekeeping Team. The rooms are modern with all on trend fixtures and fittings designed to make your stay at Napa Mermaid one to remember. The food and drinks are second to none - there will always be something for you to eat, breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lots of outside space around the pool to spend your lazy days & a beautiful bar to enjoy a cocktail watching the sun go down. If you feel like working out whilst enjoying the delights of Napa Mermaid, the gym has everything you need for a good workout! I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you book this wonderful Hotel which is just far enough outside of Ayia Napa for you to stroll into Town to enjoy the nightlife or jump a cab!
Great hotel, friendly staff, one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in,great location,5 minutes from the beach,10 minute bus ride to nissi beach,10 minutes to the main bars.food was really nice, lots of variety every night, bar drinks were very reasonable(cheaper than the bars surrounding the hotel) cocktails €5 to €6 euro and a pint of local beer(keo) €4.50,great atmosphere round the pool and although we didn’t stay for the night time entertainment, heard it was ok from other guests.grat stay and would definitely go back.
We absolutely loved our stay at Melissi beach Check in was smooth, room was lovely and clean. Balcony and views overlooking the beach were amazing. The staff were amazing! They all couldn’t do enough for us. Particularly Sayed and Mustafa who were absolutely brilliant and made everyone feel special. Great service and with care and fun included. Maria at the adult bar was lovely and kind. Sotos and the guy with the moustache at the pool bar were great, lovely and accommodating. Every member of staff worked really hard. They are all a credit to the hotel. We met some lovely guests too. The beach is stunning. We will be back in the near future xxx thank you Melissi Beach xxx
First stayed at Nelia beach in 2017 while attending a wedding in Ayia Napa. We returned the following year and then Thomas Cook folded and no airline flew from Belfast to Laranca. Easyjet has now started this year. We booked Nelia beach as soon as the flights came out. We are delighted to be back everything is as we expected perfect. The hotel is spotless the staff are all so professional and friendly and the food is absolutely amazing . We aren't big foodies but couldn't wait for dinner every night . We wouldn't hesitate in reccomending Nelia beach to anyone. Thankyou to everyone who works here for a wonderful holiday
We stayed at Anmaria beach hotel for 7 nights. Arrived at the hotel at 12am to be greeted with a man who could barely speak English but got through it. We checked in and didn’t appreciate that you have to pay extra for everything e.g WiFi €20 safe €2 a day with €5 euro deposit and towels €5 euro each. After that we went up to the room, the room was cleanish but very standard. After having a conversation with my partner about the extras I went down stairs to say all inclusive is meant all inclusive but the man didn’t understand and shooed me away and said come back in the morning what really had a great first impression. The morning we woke up and have there breakfast what I can describe as “mid” not a great choice and that goes the same for lunch and dinner because it’s 80% the same thing everyday. Can also add good luck to anyone who is vegan or vegetarian or even a picky Eater. One of the main things we didn’t like was that all the waiters are miserable and barely cracked a smile and also they all so slow and when your at the bar you can wait ages because there all smoking and chatting when they can see you waiting what I really didn’t like. With the bar also it’s only a selection of drinks you can have in all inclusive what I did not also appreciate. One thing to all with the room after a night the bedsheets are awful to stay on and the mattress is all stained and after a few nights of sleeping I would have bites on my shoulders from possibly bed buds. Another thing was that any person can walk into the hotel and use the pool what we didn’t like at all because we have seen some real strange people lurking about. Talking about lurking about one night we heard screams while we was on are balcony and we law in the ally way there was a women and 2 men cornering her but we couldn’t see what was fully going on because it was dark but after that we didn’t go out barley at night. With the keycards everytime I would try go into my room they didn’t work so would have to go to reception to get it redone what was really annoying but I know it’s not just me I was talking to other people and they said it happens and at some point there door broke so couldn’t get back in. There are only a few good things about to hotel what one is the location it is so close to the main town and over the road there is a shop called the twins shop what sells everything and next to the hotel there is a quad bike and buggy rental shop what is absolutely amazing and great people to deal with. Another thing is that the sea in a 2 minute walk what is very nice ( a bit rocky but nice) and also a really nice Greek church what is great for a photo at sunset. Overall I wouldn’t recommend, maybe for a cheap lads holiday but way overpriced for what you actually get. Would come back to ayia Napa but not with this hotel.
