During check in it coincided with a big group. Nobody manages the queue and my ageing parents had to wait for everyone else to check in first before our turn. The receptionist did not specify the floor where my parents, only found out later they put us at different floors, and refused to change room to the same floor for us. We're staying for 4 nights. Staff attitude is bad. Had to validate room keys everyday (receptionist never told us) and the key can only access to the room floor so created a lot of inconvenience to us. Not to mention the lift broke down on the first day with someone trapped inside and the hotel staff didn't seem to have any sense or urgency to resolve the issue. Terrible hotel with terrible front desk. I will not recommend anyone to stay here.

Of all the Marriott properties I have been to, this one has the best customer service by far. Ms Sabrina greeted my friends and I at check-in and personally showed us to our room, every staff member was polite and fast to help with anything. We got upgraded from original booking superior to a deuxe room due to high occupancy they said but nevertheless appreciate the gesture! Breakfast has a lot of options, the restaurant is good and there are lots of seafood restaurants next door(UTC) Loved the newly opened Tabby Bar sunset view. If you have status, points or upgrade nights this is the place to use them. I'd like to thank Ms Sabrina, Mr Faizul, Mr Abang from the staff for making our time here 5 Stars. They all gave us the VIP experience, we will definitely be back with family.

ゲゲストAmazing place. View on the jungle and the sea. Amazing pool. The room are really great but really smaller than on the presentation. You have to climb on the bed to reach the bathroom. And the food is a bit expensive, with few vegetarian options and portion are really small.

Despite the plus point on having bidets in the room's washroom and enable guests to email their boarding pass to the concierge to be printed, there are a lot of room for improvements especially on housekeeping! Do your management and service team has anything against the local? It's so substandard! Breakfast is bad although u have omelette and sunny side ups prepared on the spot. Just walk out nearby to eat. Towels were yellowing and needs bleaching. Please do not leave the towels on the desks next time. Leaving on the bed was still fine! During my first stay in December 2022, my husband needs to tell the reception counter 3 TIMES to provide another set of toiletries from the moment we checked in (verbally over the phone) to the moment we return to the hotel at night (physically twice). During my second stay in Feb 2023, i understand there is a huge corporate check in but that doesn't give you the chance to discriminate local check in and give us a room where its slap in between the lifts which is noisy. I specifically wrote I wanted the room I stayed in December. If I can't at least tell me so and negotiate with me but no one acknowledge this point. Instead you send me into a room with a broken fridge, the aircond timer kept auto off itself then the room's wall is really thin that I could hear next door or even the background music at the lift lobby. One of the downlight wasn't even functioning and the room was dim. Another downlight needs to take time to warm up by flickering for a long while before it works. The wardrobe light wasn't even functioning either! I had to tell the reception that I want a change of room 3 TIMES! First night I already indicate my intention so why isn't your receptionist telling me that it will be done instead I was told about the large corporate check in. Fine, you told me Friday morning to go down myself to the counter to request and on Thursday night I already call the second time. Why isn't the receptionist arranging this?! Instead i need to tell him to give me a call next morning to tell me if it's possible to change at 8-9am? Why aren't your staffs not proactive at all?! This is not the worse! What's worse is on Friday morning 8-9am I once again do not have any news at all from your Recep! I had to walk down physically to the reception to ask on the same freaking question! Do you really love to listen to your guests harping on the same freaking question every single time?! Only then did I get a confirmation on the change of room BUT again, if I don't ask what time, when is the Recep going to tell me? NO! Fine you tell me at noon then I again had to call your Recep and ask what ti
Iilovetotravelfoodieシブ(そしてペナン、アロルセタール、タイピン、クアラル·トレングアヌなど)の後にクチンに飛んで行き、ホテルグランドコンチネンタルクチンに一泊した。おそらく、チェックインしてくれたマレーシアのマレー(レディー)の受付スタッフは、今までどこで会った中で一番フレンドリーで歓迎された受付スタッフの一人でした。私の事前予約と事前払いの部屋(オランダのホテル予約ウェブサイトを経由して、アムステルダムに戻る、わずか24ユーロでオールイン!)は本当に広くて快適でした。レスリーさん、夜のレセプションのスタッフは午後4時まで完全に無料のレイトチェックアウトをしてくれました。翌日の午後、クチンからペナンまでのエアアジア便は6.20午後に出発するだけだと彼に話しました。Terima Kasih (Thank You Very Much)、Encik LeslieとHotel Grand Continental Kuching!!!。強くお勧めします! 👍
LLyndy_11The rooms are indeed aging but it is still clean and most importantly very spacious. Check-in is a little slow at times. Nice resort to getaway which is not too far from Kuching city. Nice beach for kids to play around. Breakfast is also nice with variety.
