ボンボラ サーフ キャンプ(Bombora Surf Camp)

I recently stayed at a hotel in Bali and had a disappointing experience. The doors were almost broken, and despite reporting issues with the water quality, it remained subpar. The amenities were minimal, with only a toilet paper roll and toothbrush provided. A major downside was the hotel’s strict policy – any spot on the bedsheets incurred hefty charges, even for easily washable stains. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

I loved staying at Bombora. The hotel is close to main road and restaurants, but still very nice and quiet. The room was nice and clean, comfy bed and excellent aircon. Staff was really nice and helpful, and pool area fantastic! Made lots of friends here during my first week in Bali.

Spectacular place! The staff is very friendly and concerned. It was a really good experience, the place is close to the beach and next to the most entertaining places in Uluwuatu. I recommend it 100%!!!

The place looked great upon checkin and the staff were friendly. It was Halloween night and about 9 PM the music was so loud in my room that I felt as if I were inside the bar next door producing the music. I was upset because I felt the front desk should have warned me of this. I had to get up at 0300 for a long flight. At 11:30 I went to the front desk and asked for my money back. They said that there were no refunds. I won’t stay at this place again. The music stopped at 11:30.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice with a beautiful view. Cute hostel vibes :)

Bombora Surf Camp is very well located (bars, clubs, restaurants, scooter dental, etc.) but it is still in a calm place. The staff is really nice and helpful. The pool area looks great and is really great to rest in the afternoon :) We recommend!

Stunning pool area by day and night. Good breakfast and good location to walk to local shops & restaurants if you don’t always fancy getting a scooter. Smart TV in the room which after a month of travelling (as sad as it sounds) was quite nice to chill to after a day of activities when I didn’t fancy partying. Very helpful staff and would definitely stay again 🫶🏼

The room was consistently damp and smelt like mould with mould in the bathroom and centipede bugs all around. It was quite dirty. They then messed up my surf lesson booking 3x, and when they finally booked it they then didn’t tell the instructor I was an intermediate and bringing my own surfboard after I asked them to confirm this. The instructor then couldn’t take me out that day and also asked for extra money the next day. Worst of all, on checkout they escorted me to back to my room and pointed at a mud mark on the sheet and then tried to charge us 400k before even putting it in the wash (mind you it had been raining for 3 days). I refused to pay this as it will easily come out in the washing machine. It was also horrible customer service and made me question whether they actually wash their quilt covers after every customer. The breakfast was not very good and an extra cost. Apart from that it’s a good location and a nice pool area. I am not sure why with the amount of staff they have they don’t keep the rooms in a better cleaning condition.
