Despite the proximity of Paris (only about 40 km), the hotel remains a quiet refuge in the forest - a feeling of being in a country castle rather than just a hotel. The hotel has 109 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the bionic environment, the equestrian traditions of the region and the subtleties of Chantilly lace . Many rooms have a view of the forest, and many have balconies or terraces. Unfortunately, there is a highway nearby, and the noise sometimes reaches the hotel. This disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. The chateau has two restaurants: L'Opera, located in the former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, which occupies the former library. The latter is quite small, and when there are many guests, it can become noisy. The restaurants offer dishes made with local ingredients, such as game, cheese from Picardy, and, of course, the famous ”à la Chantilly” cream. The cuisine is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Everything was fine during my stay – the service was good, the room was clean, and I didn’t have any problems. Overall, I really liked it. The only thing I want to mention is that, although the hotel description says they offer transport, they actually don’t provide any transportation. They only give you information about how to get to the train or bus stations.

The hotel is in the city center, closed to chantilly castle , and train station. Room is quite big. And nice. No lift, a bit difficult to bring the luggage up to top floor. No kettle in the room. But there is a microwave and fridge. No cutlery

We chose this place to spend the night before the plane, as the flight was early in the morning. We got there by taxi in 10 minutes. There is a microwave to warm up food if necessary. A nice location on the main square in Beauvais. A room overlooking the square would have been lovely. The room was clean enough and the amenities were all we needed but the decor was a bit gaudy and overall the impression was slightly drab. It was convenient for the airport with a bus service to the airport picking up just across from the hotel.
