「I chose this hostel based on YouTube recommendation.
Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect.
Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean.
Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.」

「All the staff were really nice except for that one transgender lady there that sometimes would run events. She doesn’t smile or say hi to everyone and would sometimes roll her eyes for no reason at all. But besides that, the place has got to be the best hostel to stay in if you’re looking to socialize and make new friends.」

ゲゲストOur stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel comfortable throughout our entire stay.
The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction.
Another major advantage is the hotel’s location, as it is conveniently within walking distance to Cloud 9, making it very accessible for guests who want to explore one of Siargao’s most popular attractions.
Overall, we had an exceptionally pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siargao. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful scenery, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to the island.

FFrancis See ZoneRucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me.
Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool.
Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious .
Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

ゲゲストGreat hostel for the price you pay, the location is really close to the beach but a little distance away from Siargao centre so I’d highly recommend getting a scooter for hire. Make sure you pack bug spray because being so close to the beach meant there was a lot of mosquitoes!

ゲゲストサービススタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、サーフィンから戻ってくると床が汚れるのは避けられません。ホテルは海のすぐそばにあり、日の出を見ることができますが、尖った岩が多く、ビーチはありません。外食したくない場合は、ディナーオプションも利用できます。
以前は予想していなかった大きな落とし穴がありました。ホテルのレストランには常駐のバンドと DJ が常駐していましたが、そのボリュームは膨大で、11 時、さらには深夜まで続くこともありました。日中サーフィンで疲れていても、夜はなかなか寝つきません。そこにいるわずか数日間で、我慢できず早く立ち去りたいというゲストの波に何度か遭遇しました。しかし、ホテルの経営陣は、宿泊客の苦情にはまったく無関心のようです。スタッフも非常に無力で、以前はそんなことはなかった、そして交代したばかりの新しい経営陣は「非常に素晴らしい想像力を持っている」とだけ私に内密に告げただけでした。さらに、Wi-Fiは常にそこにありますが、そこにはありません

ゲゲストThe location was difficult to get to. There was no signal, but they provide a free mini van transfer from McDonald’s to the hostel, really enjoyed my stay there the beds were massive and private. Aircon was really good really clean good breakfast included. The view was absolutely incredible.!! Zip line was 600 pieces just around the corner. Best views on the trip.

GGissIt has been the best vacation ever ! Their staff is just amazing, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable, convenient and easy. The location is just perfect. We have all the main points and restaurants closer so, we just needed to walk and no need to use the scooter or tuk tuk. Philippines people is awesome, we were in Coron before but, after visiting Siargao we are sure that we have to come back. If you want to come to Siargao please don’t have any doubt to choose Isla Cabana resort.
