We have just arrived home from a week at the Maryciel apartments and I was pleasantly surprised by our room and stay. It’s basic and a little tired perhaps HOWEVER it was clean and completely fit for purpose. Myself and 4 girl friends had booked a week away on a whim after a few drinks one evening, and paid around £230 each for the week including return flights, so we weren’t expecting much! I am a self confessed clean freak and the reviews I’d read had me a bit worried, but it was great - perfectly clean sheets, bathroom and towels. Our first night I was woken by noise from the clubs in the early hours but that’s par for the course if you book central Benidorm. The pool and communal areas were clean and the reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The apartments are a 5 minute walk from the stunning beach, there’s a lot of lively bars if that’s your cup of tea, otherwise the old town is a 20 minute walk along the beach and it is simply beautiful. Bustling with life but calmer, more family friendly and such great value for money. Gorgeous Tapas and paella restaurants - really great place to holiday. If you’re expecting 5 star standards book a 5 star resort, but if you want a clean comfortable base to stay at, look no further. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Maryciel. Great apartments has everything u need comfortables beds , clean , well equipped kitchen, lots of wardrobe space . Great position for all amenities .bars restaurants shops . Two roads back from beach , in between new and old town . I’ve revisited two times now and going back this month

Holidayed with 3 ladies ages 50 to 63 years for 50th birthday. Arrived to a very busy reception area with 17 girls checking in. which delayed our check in and had to stand about for approx 20 mins. Our check in was easy and painless. Be aware they do require a €200 deposit which you get back providing no damage. Got to the room (12C) and was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious, very clean, fabulous views, extra large balcony. TV had loads of english channels, kitchen included cooker, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle and all the utensils you need. In the bedroom was an ironing board and iron. Safe hire was €10 for the 5 nights. Lift is extremly slow so if you can walk to your floor it would be quicker. The pool area is so lovely. Nice little bar with drinks and snacks available, not overcrowded with sun loungers so could do with a few more. Pool table and outdoor showers. The beach is approx 4 mins walk and ***** is too. Perfect location, right in the middle of it all however the apartments were very quiet so always got a good nights sleep. Staff are very friendly and happy to assist you if needed. Honestly couldnt fault the place. people go here expecting 5 star yet paid for 2 star. i would highly recommend for so many reasons and would 100% return again if the price was right

For a two star hotel, we expected so much less than what the hotel had to offer! Facilities was perfect, rooms was clean spacious and brilliant views! The pool bar was great entertainment, food and drink also at reasonable rate, with this being here we spent more time at the hotel than expected. Staff was so friendly and sorted any issues thrown their way and couldn’t thank them anymore! Would definitely recommend to any couple, group booking with the ***** being a 5 minute walk and the beach also a 5 minute walk you couldn’t ask for much more! Will definitely be using this hotel again in the future with hopefully the same outcome!

Just returned from these apartments and again they were great! Staff friendly and reception always covered. Very clean rooms, beds, towels. Nice little bar on site but near to bars. Would only suggest more sun-beds are purchased for round the pool. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent appartments, would recommend as they are very spacious and clean . Balcony is spacious and the location is pretty good for the beach

We have stayed lots of times in these apartments, they are great; well equipped, clean and central. The pool area and bar are fab too. All the staff are brilliant. Our stay this year ranged from our youngest being 3 to our eldest 79, we had our American friends with us too! Everyone enjoyed it ☺️

Well what a great lovely stay at one of our favourite apartments, yet again! The staff was very friendly and helpful as always. From start to finish of our holiday we where fully greeted and would always accommodate if required. Thank you agin for your service Maryciel! We will be back soon!!

We booked 2 apartments, a one bedroom and a two bedroom. Both were very clean, well equiped. With comfortable beds. Both apartments had complementary cans of cocktail, coffee pods, shower gel, cleaning packs etc. My wife loved the egg chair that was on the balcony. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jose who ran the poolside bar. Everywhere in the public areas was cleaned regularly. The first 3 nights were very quiet and we got plenty of sleep. Unfortunately on the Thursday 2 groups of women celebrating hen parties arrived and that was the end of our tranquil stay. They were loud, brash, foul mouthed, even at early hours of the morning, they were screaming at each other and had no consideration for other guests in the apartments. For this reason we would not consider returning here in the future.
