ラ プレイス ホテル(La Place Hotel)

Breakfast is served from 0730 It’s not a buffet but once you have a seat, it will be served classic Lebanese breakfast automatically. I savored the food.  The room is gorgeous. I wasn’t expecting the high quality of the hotel while I travel throughout Lebanon in a group tour. I usually stay B&B, guesthouse, I was extremely happy that I had an opportunity to stay here but other tour mates had an issue at bathroom in the room they stayed.  - Pet bottled Water - Safe - TV - AC - Hot water  - Wi-fi Water pressure in the bathroom is very strong Hot Water was very nice  There is a very nice restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel. It is connected from the 3rd floor of the hotel. I went there to take a look but I couldn’t go back to the hotel from the restaurant, So I went outside of the hotel and had to go to the main road. Ask the receptionist how to get back to the hotel before you are off to the restaurant in case you want to check the restaurant.  Also there is a (hidden?) lounge. A staff member kindly showed it to me. It is where you can enjoy Karaoke etc.  The location looks very good. It seems like it is central to the area. There are several bars nearby.

I was pleasantly surprised with this new hotel in Zahle. The staff was courteous, the rooms were nice and clean. If there is one thing I would suggest is for them to answer their emails.

The towels smelly. Pillows smells and they seemed old with many oily heads slept on them. Shower drainage was clogged and water was flowing throughout the bathroom. This should be named a hostile stay.

If you called wakup call to get your flight or important appoin**ent, make sure you will lose your appoin**ent. I return to the reception staff, answer what can I do, I didn't notified or not recorded on the system from previous shift, Dirty sleeping bed in 01st and 02nd days Very limited times in breakfast, and not. allowed to get breakfast box if required. No heating system in room just AC adjust on 30C, blankets not available in hotel

The person preparing breakfast, forgetting to check my room, forgetting amenities and towels, and forgetting to return my laundry was the SAME person doing all these jobs, and was not very good at it. Obviously was not trained for any of the jobs, just cheap labor, and not clean. And all talk - no action. The only thing he cared about was the next cigarette, and helping relatives use guests. Would never consider this place again. Location was fine. To use elevator, you need to take your luggage up at least 10 steps before you get there. The 2 young ladies AT FRONT DEST WERE SUBERB.

We paid for extra bed through ******* but staff still requested additional funding at check in. This is a dishonest practice.
