Good for business travel

We stayed for 1 night before our daughters graduation at UoB and were delighted we had picked this hotel. Excellent communication before our arrival, straight to our room which was lovely and very comfortable. The lounge and free coffee is lovely feature. We also ate in the restaurant next door, the food was excellent and we loved the convenience of being able to simply walk next door for a nice meal and drink after a long drive.

The room in this beautiful Georgian house was gorgeous. Big bath in the room and a separate bathroom with shower. All toiletries were up market and the room was well stocked with teas/coffees/water. Entry was nice and easy and breakfast the next morning was next door at the pub but was absolutely delicious. Staff were uber friendly and helpful. Only two downsides were parking could be a bit busy and the TV in the room had a sketchy signal. Lovely stay.

The only things which we haven’t like was the sink was inside the room and not in the bathroom. Who made the project,did wrong. Overall was okay. Also beds are so noisy!

Really lovely one night stay at this hotel. The only thing I could find a fault with is that the twin beds were really narrow. The room was massive so could’ve easily accommodated larger beds. The check in and out was a smooth process. Breakfast was first class! Would recommend the hotel & will return again

I've absolutely fallen in love with this hotel! When I first walked in the heating was on and classical music was playing which made it feel very fancy. The beds were soft and perfectly made. The bath that was included in the room came with complimentary bath salts and bath soak which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the hot water from the tap in the sink wouldn't run at the same time as the bath tap, but this is only a minor issue. It was a self check in service which I was unsure about a first, but once I called the hotel I spoke to Natasha who was extremely helpful and reassured me about the process. Breakfast the next day was also beautifully made. I didn't go to the pub for any other food but I'll definitely try out the pub the next time I stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Birmingham!

What an amazingly beautiful boutique hotel. Attached to a really cool pub with amazing food, it is a separate and very quiet building with each room being different. It was contactless, but extremely easy to get in and settled. All great amenities and easy to find. I doubt I’ll ever find myself in Birmingham again, but if I do than I am staying here. It’s not a generic hotel and probably the best one I’ve stayed in while in England.

Well equipped. Process for accessing room reasonably clear. The associated pub is great for food.
