I book this as a special holiday for me and my wife as it was a special birthday we had an absolutely fantastic time. Food was great. The accommodation was great. The people are lovely who work there. All the staff are amazing .We did the whale trip with the Centre? It was absolutely fantastic. Luckily we got to witness a whale shark strongly recommend it it’s very very good only reason I haven’t given this five is as we return home we don’t fly until 11 pm got picked up from hotel at 3 pm. I didn’t see why we needed to leave the hotel so early so we have had to wait at the air port for seven hours before 12 hour flight home I’m a little bit disappointed over this, but overall Holiday was fantastic

Siamo abituati a resort di alto livello (tre volte al Constance) ma visti i balzi di prezzo dell’ultimo anno abbiamo optato per questa nuova apertura approfittando su maldiveness.com dello sconto nuova apertura del 30%. Dalla lounge in aeroporto all’accoglienza all’’arrivo abbiamo subito avuto un’ottima impressione. La nostra Suite Villa con piscina si è presentata incantevole, un raffinato stile maldiviano con un tocco di modernità. I tramonti ammirati dalla nostra camera ci hanno rilassati e riportati in Italia con una carica ed energia nuova. Abbiamo amato il ristorante a buffet dove lo chef ci ha coccolati e ogni sera chiedeva se desideravamo qualcosa in particolare. Grazie infine allo staff di Barcelò perché la vostra gentilezza, professionalità ha coronato la nostra rendendola impeccabile. L’unico piccolo neo è stata la lunga attesa per il seaplane.

My wife and I had an enchanting stay at this resort and were consistently bowled over the resorts level of service from the moment you step off the plane, to the moment you board it again for your return journey. We’re somewhat sticklers for reading reviews before booking any holiday, and we took the same approach for this holiday… safe to say we were a little surprised to see some somewhat negative comments in previous reviews, comments which do not support our own experiences in any way. This resort, the service delivered, and the overall location were flawless - some days it didn’t quite feel real. The staff at this resort are 100% the cherry on the cake! My wife and I both work in ‘customer facing’ industries and both agree that the service we received was nothing short of exceptional!

Abbiamo trascorso dei momenti indimenticabili al Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives in una beach villa, camera bellissima e curata nei minimi dettagli ma il punto forte è il bagno, tipico maldiviano con doccia esterna Pulizia ottima con ripasso 2 volte al giorno. Il resort è nuovo ed il personale è super accogliete e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Ho apprezzato molto la possibilità di poter usufruire gratuitamente delle bici e dell’attrezzatura per fare snorkeling riconsegnandole a fine del soggiorno. Ogni giorno c’è la possibilità di uscire in barca per fare snorkeling gratuitamente. Il ristorante offre ogni giorno dei piatti ispirati ad una cultura diversa, e di alta qualità, mai troppo speziati. Rispetto ad altri resort ha una vastissima laguna ed ogni giorno, specialmente al tramonto si posso vedere piccoli squali e mante sopratutto dalle water villa. Consigliatissimo, spero di tornarci presto.

Werkelijk een paradijs op aarde! Prachtig aangelegd resort. Mooie kamers met grote buiten badkamer. Ruim assortiment kwalitatief goed eten. Al het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je voelt je zo welkom. We kunnen niet wachten om terug te gaan.

My family and I recently spent two weeks at the Barcelo Whale Lagoon Maldives. We had an overall very pleasant experience from the moment we were picked up by a hotel representative at Male airport until we left the island. The resort is located at the bottom edge of the Ari south Atoll, and it takes about 30-minute seaplane flight from Male International airport. The resort opened in September 2023, and everything is brand new and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and cosy, the island is very clean, the staff is always looking after the guests to accommodate any special requests. The resort offers different types of accommodations: beach villas with/without pool and water villas. The resort has two pools at the opposite edges of the island, three bars (Magical, Breeze and Sea Salt) and two main restaurants (Sea Salt – buffet and Aqua – à la carte). Food is also served at the Magical and Breeze bar. The All-Inclusive package is all together very good, besides food and beverages (minibar is included) it also comprises one hour per day rental of paddle board or kayak. The resort also offers complimentary snorkel gear for to the guests. Despite the vegetation is still pushing and shade is lacking in some spots, the island is beautiful and very well maintained. Some stretches of the beach are the best I have seen in my many visits to the Maldives. Especially the portion ranging from the Aqua to the Sea Salt restaurant is simply stunning. The food quality is good but without any wow effect, the food selection is perhaps a bit repetitive, but the chefs and the restaurant staff were always very kind to accommodate any special requests which is particularly helpful for families travelling with children. A special mention goes to Swapnil, Malini and Gracia. The cocktail and beverage selection are very good as well as the quality and their presentation. A special mention goes to Aryan. The entertainment is very soft, I really enjoyed the live music both at the Breeze bar and at the Sea Salt restaurant, but other nights were a bit boring… A special mention goes to Robby, a real globe trotter who takes care of sports, teen’s club and struggles to make your stay at the resort unforgettable. He is a very energetic and charismatic person; he will always approach you with a big smile and goes out of his way to involve guests in various sports and recreational activities without ever being pushy and creating a family atmosphere. I would strongly recommend his acquagym class in the morning or a beach tennis / beach volley session in the evening. It has been a real pleasure to meet him. I definitely recommend the Barcelo Whale Lagoon Maldives! We are looking forward to our next stay there.

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza indimenticabile al Barcelò Whale Lagoon alle Maldive, soggiornando per 7 notti in una water villa sunset con terrazzo ed accesso diretto al mare. Il regime all inclusive ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole, grazie alla qualità del cibo e delle bevande servito in tutti i ristoranti e nei pool bar. Un'esperienza davvero eccezionale è stata l'immersione sulla barriera a 12 metri, dove abbiamo potuto ammirare tutte le meraviglie del reef. Un ringraziamento speciale va al team del dive center, in particolare ad Anton, per la loro professionalità e attenzione. Sin dal nostro arrivo in aeroporto e per tutta la durata della vacanza, lo staff si è dedicato a farci sentire a nostro agio, rendendo ogni istante del nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Grazie a tutti per aver reso questa vacanza così speciale. Sicuramente torneremo!

5/5, magnifique hôtel, île superbe et personnel très agréable, mention spéciale pour Fazeem qui était aux petits soins pour nous. Nous avons profité d’une villa sur l’eau avec de magnifiques levers de soleil. Nous avons beaucoup aimé effectué les cours de yoga ainsi que les plongées avec l’équipe de l’hôtel

El atolón es espectacular. Este hotel se encuentra en un lugar privilegiado y paradisíaco. De pequeño tamaño, se puede disfrutar de una desconexión y relajación total y absoluta. El trato de todo el personal del hotel fue excepcional (especial mención a Jun y Noor, por su atención en español). Gran variedad de comida y de muy buen nivel. Totalmente recomendable el hotel de esta cadena en Maldivas.
