This place was a dream. Jia & Tong are lovely people with good taste. Travelling on my own and having little idea of what to do in the area (due to lacking Chinese language skills), Jia was super helpful with recommendations and arrangements. I only had one day but he managed to make arrangements in such a way that I saw another beautiful old Dong village that wasn’t too touristy as well as the stunning rice-field sunset. I felt like I could even just spend the day watching the view from the balcony whilst drinking the amazing tea. But instead I had a great day and even rounded it off chatting in great company and trying some local drinks. The local people are creative, super friendly and some have a great sense of humour ;) I’ve hardly ever felt so taken care of, so safe, and with so much fun. All the amenities are high quality, the sheets felt like 100% cotton (which is very rare across China I found!) The designs are great using local materials. And yes, the bath is great too! I forgot to ask for local shopping recommendations, which I am sure they must have as they have some beautiful items in the rooms and in the social area. I very much hope to visit again soon. It feels like an area and a place full of people I would love to get to know better.

Super petit hotel à 5 minutes à pied du centre et au calme, très bien placé ! La chambre était très agréable avec un balcon et vue sur le village. Elle dispose de tout le nécessaire en serviettes , produits, accessoires…la machine à laver est vraiment pratique et même la lessive est fournie , la literie était super et nous avons très bien dormi! Le propriétaire est très vraiment sympathique et agréable, il a fait en sorte que nous ayons un petit déjeuner français et cela nous a fait très plaisir. Il a fait tout son possible pour rendre notre séjour agréable et il s’est montré très aidant pour les transferts ! Nous le remercions. La dame qui cuisine les petits déjeuner est également très agréable et sympathique. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet endroit et cet accueil.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Its prime location in the Center of the village with a wonderful view on the old houses , and the rooms are impeccably clean. The service is amazing , drinks at the entry, wash clothes, breakfast … everything is really perfect but what truly stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. They helped organize everything and provided a breakfast box as I was I left too early in the morning. I totally recommend this place and this village has been definitely one of the main highlights of my 20 days trip in china :)

Before arriving, the homestay stafd took the initiative to contact me via Wechat so that they can arrange for transport to bring us from the train station to the hotel. This hotel is located inside Zhaoxing Ancient Village so do purchase the entrance tickets beforehand. The hotel is located towards the end of the village and our room is facing a small paddy field. It is very convenient to move around as it is only 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station if you want to take the shuttle bus to Tang'An Rice Terrace. It is also about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of the village where you can find food and other necessities. The staff is very considerate- they will message me on wechat to ask what we prefer for breakfast so that they can prepare the noodles and coffee for us by the time we want to go down for breakfast. They can also deliver the breakfast to your room if you prefer. The beds are very comfortable although the pillows can be a bit harder and will be good to have more hooks in the bathroom for guests to hang their towels and clothes before showering. All in all, would highly recommend this homestay. Thank you for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse. Mr. Lu, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming. He truly goes above and beyond for his guests. He even arranged a driver for us to visit nearby villages and personally accompanied us during the visits, which made the experience even more special and authentic. He also picked us up from the train station and dropped us off there, which was very much appreciated. His wife is also very warm and friendly, and together they create a lovely, home like atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious, and the location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The only small downside was that we happened to visit during a period of construction, so our room had a view of the works. However, this was just bad timing and did not take away from our overall experience. As a memorable highlight, Lu played and sang a traditional Dong song for us, which was absolutely magical and something we will never forget. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a genuine and heartfelt stay.

這絕對是我住過的酒店裡最熱情最周到的 沒有之一 出高鐵就有車接我們去到民宿門口 前台小哥很耐心地跟我們介紹有什麼玩的 該怎麼玩 隨時接送我們去主街 既可以享受主街的熱鬧又遠離熱鬧帶來的噪音 地理位置超讚的 山上天氣多變 無論是晴天雨天 或是起霧收雨 都有各自不同的美 房間冰箱裏的飲料都是免費的 但是根本無暇光顧 因為前台太熱情了 一言不合就問我要不要喝咖啡 要不要給你備份下午茶 連逛街回來在一樓坐一會都會給我們備上一份零食 花姐更是熱情地問要不要嚐嚐她釀的米酒還有泡的楊梅酒 連楊梅都是她去山上摘回來的 還有早餐的黃瓜跟油桃全部是自己種的 還有還有 早餐的牛肉粉超好吃 而且以上通通都是免費的 雖然吃不了那麼多 可是架不住店家熱情呀 這態度 誰能戒斷呢 人還沒離店 已經安排好下一次來的時間了

The service was excellent and so was the breakfast. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful views over the rice fields. It was a bit difficult to find and it's called Creekside Inn, not Creekside Inn.

B&B の住所は中寨市にあり、インターネット セレブ タワー P1 を通り過ぎて徒歩わずか 1 分です。入り口に食べ物や飲み物がたくさんあります。大通りから少し離れているので、とても静かです。喧騒の中にあります。夜はぐっすり眠れます。部屋もとてもきれいです。大きいです。ボスはとても素敵なお姉さんです。ちょうどいいタイミングで一人で泊まりに来ました。彼女の家に蒸し芋を食べに行ったら、店主のお姉さんの家からタロイモとサツマイモを無料でもらいました🍠 来たとき夕方、鉄の花を見に行った帰り、食事を終えた店主のお姉さんに偶然会い、「一緒に食べませんか」と誘われました。名物の牛肉スープを食べてみました。酸っぱくて辛くて美味しかったです！彼女の犬のプリンはとてもおいしいです！お人形さんみたいで超可愛い🧸夜のドローンフライドチキン、妹も警察への連絡を手伝ってくれて、ドローンを拾ってくれました、とても入りやすいお店です、次回来るときもまたここに泊まります！ ！

オーナーは最初から丁寧に案内してくれました。ミャオ族の村に到着すると、動画を見ながらホテルまで簡単に見つけることができました！本当に親切な対応でした！チェックイン前に、まだ12時にもなっていなかったので部屋にチェックインできないとオーナーに伝えました。到着すると、オーナーは無料で部屋をアップグレードしてくれて、ハンガーが何本必要か尋ねてくれ、ミャオ族の村全体の地図を見せてくれただけでなく、とても分かりやすいガイドをくれました。荷物が多いのを見て、部屋まで運んでくれました。途中でオーナーに質問したところ、とても丁寧に対応してくれました。B&Bには可愛い猫たちもいて、とても居心地が良かったです。部屋もとても素敵で、清潔な使い捨てタオルが用意されていました。全体的に、とても素敵で温かいB&Bでした。

A few days before my arrival, I requested contact by wechat through Trip.com which was more convenient and the inn responded quite quickly which was reassuring and I arranged pick-up from the train station. They came back with a printed image of my name on paper and asked to look out for it upon my arrival. Pick-up was pretty smooth and got to the scenic site 15 minutes later. The driver led me to the scenic area's main entrance to buy a ticket to enter. I had to physically walk in through the public entrance for my ticket to be scanned and the driver drove in separately and we met inside the village. I hopped in the car and we drove up to where the ancient village was in a valley. A young man waited by the entrance of the village, took my luggage and I followed him down the path of cobble stones into the village. The inn was very close to the village entrance through a narrow alleyway and then up some stone steps. The inn was opened in 2021, so everything looked new and well kept. I checked in and was shown to my room immediately well ahead of the check-in time of 14:00 which I was so grateful for. The room and bathroom were adequate. Breakfast could be improved. However, the inn provides afternoon tea between 14:00 and 16:00 which is eaten on the terrace on the top floor with magnificent views of the village below. The staff at the inn are so lovely and helpful. They even recommended places to eat and also a local guide. I tried both and wasn't disappointed. The inn also arranged drop-off at the station. Both pick-up and drop-off at the station were free of charge which was an added bonus. I stayed here for one night and was quite happy. It was a perfect start to my high-speed rail odyssey across the southern part of China. I highly recommend this inn due to the location of it inside the ancient village, the views from the terrace and the very helpful staff.
