RRowena Yin TingA nice boutique hotel with friendly staff at a good location with restaurants nearby. We booked two rooms - the room on 2nd floor is good but the one on ground floor smells a bit of mould. Perhaps because it’s inside a cave. Breakfast choice is limited with fruits, toast with tomatoes, and cakes. You can order boiled or scrambled eggs as this is the only hot food they serve. We are fine with that but more as fyi.
MmlenitskayaThis is probably the best hotel in Matera based on what we read before traveling. The service is exceptional , very helpful and friendly staff. The room is spacious, very clean and cozy. We had a small balcony with a very nice room. The restaurant that was recommended to us was also amazing. Highly recommend!
ゲゲストLocated in the heart of Matera, which means you can’t get there by car, but the views and the room made up for the challenge of getting to it. Everyone was very professional. The room was large, clean and suited our needs. It felt like we were staying in someone’s mansion.
ゲゲストLocated just inside the old town and 5 minutes walk from the ancient area. Generous size room and excellent breakfast. Perfect for visiting this special town.
EEduardo J. RamosExcellent hotel but way out of town in a lonely industrial area, perfect for those with a car.
Wifi in some rooms is quite disappointing too.
other than that, modern facilities including swimming pool (closed in December obviously), ample car park, large bedrooms, and superb breakfast.
