Hôtel bien situé, personnel chaleureux, accueillant, cependant la douche et les toilettes sont exiguës.

Excellent service by front desk staff when checking in/out. Especially Stephie & Mauthy. Good meals at Le Brasserie. Room service was excellent. Conference facilities were excellent. Front desk staff helped with taxis. I would recommend Sofitel Abidjan to other friends and colleagues.

Hotel ivoire used to be the beacon of Abidjan. While still ok, there are things you do no expect in a property like this : hot water a couple hours a day only, slimy pool bottom and milky water, ladies of the night invading the bar areas after 8pm are among the disappoin**ents. On the other hand, the personal is extremely attentive, helpful and nice.

This experience was terrible! We checked in for 2 nights. Loud music, cockroaches, personal concierge number not working, bathtub clogged! On the 1st night there was a loud open-air concert from 6 PM until 5 AM. The building was shaking and the sound was bouncing through the walls. The concierge did not seem to be aware of the end time, and we met more than 5 people who went downstairs to complain at the front desk, but nothing was done. Bathtub was clogged and the shower barely had water, we informed the staff but nothing was done until our departure.

An incredibly large sized pool (lake), good restaurants - La Brasserie is a must try. Best Frappes (caramel) ever in lobby cafe bar. The hotel team is warm and accomodating. Great mall and restaurants right next to hotel if you want to shop and try something different. Hotel rooms are clean - the mattress though was way to soft for my liking (OK for my short stay) and the bathroom rather tight. All in all, does the job for business travel.

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. I booked and paid for Sofitel. They put me in what the call The Towers. Elevators did not work. Stuck in one working elevator during stay. Staff extremely rude. If you don’t speak French, no one cares about you. Housekeeping was a daily nigh**are. Room service was awful. Spoke to management who said they’ll move me to main hotel. It never happened. Worst hotel experience ever.

If you expect guest to adhere to a check out time, you should adhere to a check-in time. It was very unpleasant to get stuck in the elevator and be forced to take the stairs. Housekeeping never properly replaced items in the room. Laundry lost my items. Overall at the price point, I was disappointed.

My TV & plugs in the room did not work. Despite mentioning this to reception, they did nothing. Poor service quality- room service very lenghthy. I was told we do not care of service e elle de as hôtel is always full. I will not stay there again for 3 night at GBP 1,200. Really poor

Food was amazing! Was served by Carelle who was really attentive and always checking if we were doing fine every night we had dinner in. Lovely service she provided to us. Over all the hotel/ restaurant has a lovely staff. Thank you
