City Hotel

Great staff, good dinner and breakfast... though there are many choices to eat nearby. Excellent location, with beautiful scenery in every direction Very clean! We were very happy to stay here, and would love to come back.

This place is dated. The rooms are small and open to a courtyard where you can hear almost everything happening on any other floor and in any other room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are hot, but they provide a fan. No circulation. The food in the restaurant is limited but they have a large selection at the bar. I would recommend walking around town to go get something to eat.

The area being really expensive, this was one of the cheapest places we could fine. It s quite classic, but clean. The rooms are big enough. The shower is small but this is ok. A fridge is in every room. This is handy, just be warned that it freezes everything, event if you set it on the lowest level (1). It happened to us in both rooms. Beware of not putting full bottles in it, they explode, uncluding beer ! 🤣 The breakfast buffet is very nice and a lot of choice is provided. The matresses are a bit soft but it s ok. The staff was nice and polite. It s a good plan, the location is central, very convenient. The hotel has a private free car park or a garage for a fee.

We came with a very large group and were totally satisfied with the City Hotel. The location is very good, rooms are impeccably clean and the staff with always friendly. A small remark to the restaurant: we missed veggies and salad with the menus.

We asked for and got a room facing the courtyard (i.e. not the street), and it was really nice and quiet. We could even sleep with the window open! The room had the quirk that the toilet and shower have their own little room, and the sink is in the room. Didn't bother us. The concierge was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed four nights at this hotel, and we were very satisfied. The restaurant of this hotel is excellent. There are plenty of choices for breakfast and dinner. The prices for dinner are correct and good value for money, considering the prices of other restaurants around, plus the atmosphere at the restaurant is pleasant and spacious. Staff is very helpful and professional at the hotel and restaurant.

Personnel très aimable, très bien situé. Mais cet hôtel ne peut pas être un quatre étoiles.. c‘est un comble. Il est très vieux (n‘est pas en bon état), pas propre, on ne se sent pas à l‘aise. Les produits proposés dans la salle de bain (voir photos).. les gels douche, des cotons tiges dans une boîte de supermarché.. au moins, ils ne cachent pas la marque. Beaucoup trop cher pour cette qualité. Il y a un autre quatre étoiles juste à côté.. plus cher, certes, mais qui ressemble à un quatre étoiles..

Wir feierten eine Party mit Freunden im City Hotel in Brunnen. Stojan mit seinem Küchenteam verwöhnte uns mit feinen Buffets. Auch das Serviceteam mit Dalibor war topp. Einen grossen Bildschirm sowie einige Mikrofons konnten wir für die vielen Darbietungen kostenlos benutzen. Wir hatten eine grossartigen Abend im City und kommen gerne wieder.

Habe mich wirklich geekelt, sehr altes Zimmer, miserabler Zustand , uraltes Badezimmer, roch sehr muffig, sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wofür 4 Sterne.?Nie wieder diese Hotel, entsetzlich
