Everything was on our expectations from 3 star. Room size was spacious. Kids can stay free. Breakfast was served fresh and everything available as per needed. Location was central which helped us reaching to main attractions easily. I would recommend.
I like the stay. Rooms are big and comfortable. The staff of the hotel was helpful. Great view. But little bit far from the city center. In overall, I would recommend this hotel for stay
Convenient location for both the train station and city centre. Walking distance to the castle and other tourist attractions. I got unlucky with pricing since I was unknowingly there during university graduations, so the price I paid definitely wasn't worth it, but their regular pricing seems fair.
Wasn't great mostly due to the fact that you had Taxi drivers outside beeping horns all hours of the night.
People fighting and shouting outside the hotel.
As well as the Fire alarm going off at about 10:40pm.
I had to check out by 04:50 Am to catch a train and I didn't get to sleep until about 2:30am
This hotel is however right next to Cardiff Central Station so perfect for Travelling by train. Which is why I booked here.
After explaining my stay to reception I asked for a bottle of water for my travels and it was given to me complimentary which I really appreciated.
The hotel Staff were polite and welcoming, however and the room was quite clean. TV didn't work however which is a shame.
The room was generally clean and tidy although it was very noisy overnight due to its location, the beds were comfortable enough, an extra pillow would have been nice.
Location was great for my trip, but the condition of the bathroom was a bit on the shabby side. The bottom of the bathroom door frame and the actual door were rotting and had been for quite a while
SSebastienjojIt was a great stay, very close to the Central Station and quite an easy walk to all
Shopping malls centers around. Breakfast is ok although it could’ve been better if at least they change alternately the menu each day, nevertheless it was fine. The staff are nice and well accommodating.
ゲゲストAll fine but no knowledge of how to get hot water from sink. We finally found out in the end, just before check out, that you had to turn on shower but not told by reception.
Fridge did not work. Told reception twice but nothing done about it so our milk went off!
Bed comfy and room quiet
Great location
Expensive parking
EEstherStayed for a night and the location was perfect, only 7min walk from Cardiff Central train station. Very easy to get to. At the first glance, the hotel seems very old compared to the photo but it was quite clean. Check in was easy and the receptionists were very friendly.. I love the 24 hr front desk service. Since it is in the city center, the surrounding is a bit crowded but the entrance is always locked and you have to ring the bell if you want to get inside which I felt safe. As a solo traveller in a new city, that's the main thing i wanted. the room is tiny but have all the things I need. i thought i would hear the voices from other rooms judging by the look of the walls but I didnt . Bed was comfy and slept well.. Would definitely stay there again. Cheers.
TThismorningiwokeupinI stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.
JJay(Jalal)More than amazing ,
A really nice place with a good location, the service was excellent too especially the kind man “callum “ he was always ready on call “ i think he’s got a blink ability or smth :)) thank you very much for the hospitality and hope to see you again soon.
I highly recommend this place.
And yes you enter as strangers , leave as friends

BBethSaidSmileStayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.
ゲゲストWe arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .
