ホテル ラ プルメリア(Hotel la Plumeria)

A fabulous, clean and friendly hotel. Location superb right in centre of historic old town. Bedrooms fantastic with balcony and great bathroom. Very comfortable. Continental breakfast excellent with the fresh fruit, cakes, coffee etc. And this hotel very good value.

Very convenient and comfortable hotel in the middle of old Cefalu, one block walk from the Piazza Duomo. Enjoyable breakfast included, attentive staff. Walkable location to several wonderful restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean. Recommended.

I liked how the property is centrally located, and especially the good security entering the building. The front desk staff was very helpful and really tried to please. The property is looking a little tired inside. It could use a bit of renovation and styling. It does not have a seating area when you are checking in, and I think it could benefit from this to make the entrance look more cozy.

Great location, bad service. Air conditioning wasn't working properly, erratic noise and limited cooling. Asked the front desk person to have it checked. Nothing was done or communicated. Asked the same person again the next morning. When I checked back in the afternoon a different front desk person said that the morning person decided it was fine herself and did nothing. AC couldn't cool below 25C (77F). She said that she couldn't do anything further. Ugh. Started checking out the AC myself. Found that the incoming air filter was completely covered in 1/4" of dust/debris. Cleaned it up and the air conditioner worked perfectly, quiet and quickly cooled down. I slept quite poorly for two nights. If the response had been better I would have had no issue but nothing was done or communicated. A guest shouldn't have to bring up an issue twice nor be responsible to clean out an air conditioner. Very messy job without a vacuum.

We drove from Palermo to Cefalu. Discovered quite quickly that you cannot drive close to hotel as streets narrow & pedestrian only. We had to park our car at the public beach parking lot & walked several blocks to the hotel. Hotel was in a fantastic location. Could easily walk to the beach. Wifi wasn't working when we were there so had to pay our bill with euros upon checking out. In room safe not secured to anything either. We only stayed one night & it was perfect for our needs.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay here. The location cannot be beaten but the hotel manages to remain calm and quiet. The free parking worked exactly as described and there was barely any wait for the shuttle to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and all the staff we encountered were helpful and engaged.

La Plumeria was a lovely hotel in an excellent location in the old town of Cefalu. It had spacious rooms and a balcony looking over the narrow street below. Cosy garden courtyard for breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
