カントリー イン & スイーツ バイ ラディソン シャーロッツビル UVA バージニア(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Charlottesville-UVA, VA)

The only thing that wasn’t good was the fan in the heating unit started making noises around 3:00 this morning, I got up and turned it off at the thermostat. Breakfast was great and the gentleman that checked us in was super friendly.

This is one of those hotels that's just a good option for the price for your average traveler. It's clearly cleaner and nicer than the other hotels right around it. It has all the basic amenities you'd need, plus plenty of eating and shopping options in the immediate area. A solid 4.75 stars (out of 5) if you want to stay in Charlottesville near the university.

We have always had good luck with Country Inn and Suites and this one was no exception. It was still decorated for Chris**as and the decorations here were so colorful and cheerful. The lounge area was exceptionally pleasant and just the perfect place to read. As usual, the breakfast selections were excellent.

The tv remote was a joke Had aim just in one spot. There was no guide on tv There was no mute button There was not a channel list on paper. Had to scan QR code. Dont have that on my phone. Will never stay here again

Normally don’t complain but arrived about midnight. Doors were locked and could not get in to lobby to check in. Picked up service phone on wall. Let it ring for about 5 minutes with no answer. Then called hotel from my cell phone and could not get answer. Finally another guest came in door, using their key card and after about 15 minutes I finally got into lobby. Nobody at desk. After a little bit the night clerk finally came out. He appeared to not have any idea how to work computer to get me checked in. Took forever but finally got my room. Everything else about the hotel was great but check in was horrible

Very clean and tidy room! I am pleased with how many things are set up in the room for the person staying (coffees and teas/showering products/different kinds of pillows/etc.). I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Staff is very good at this hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe. I have had an issue the last 4 times I stayed with getting my room tidied up. They enter it into the computer to refresh the room but it doesn’t happen. Last night the clerk explained that if the desk clerk does not hit save in the system it will not generate a note to clean the room. I hope all the clerks will be taught how to enter this properly as I am tired of having to come back each day and complain of an unmade room. Otherwise the hotel is okay to stay at.

The staff was friendly and property is located near John Paul Jones arena. Room rate included breakfast.

I was happy to have received a parking permit so that my vehicle would not get towed. The gentlemen at the reception desk was beyond helpful and offered me additional coffee pods for the morning so I would be ready to go for my big presentation at UVA!
