「The experience at the hotel was really good. The facilities were top notch. I would definitely come back here,would suggest my friends too.」

「The hotel is a wonderful old Victorian building, very close to all major tourist attractions, food shops, pubs and food market. During our 2N stay at the hotel we only faced two issues. 1)the lift is very compact (small) and slow and gave up on the second day of our stay. 2) The sink in the room got clogged but the staff immediately resolved the issue. The hotel staff were kind and courteous. I’d highly recommend staying at The Angel hotel.😊」

「It was clean and comfortable, although we went to breakfast at 9.30 am and there were no croissants or muffins left and very little on the continental breakfast, the cooked breakfast was excellent. Also, we went down for cocktails in the happy hour 2 cocktails for £12, we got overcharged, and when we asked the waitress to check, she didn't come back before we needed to leave,. Overall a good night's stay 😀」

「I stayed here for 2 nights and had such a great time. The hotel is in a strategic location in the city centre, very close to many stores, restaurants, and pubs. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent, and the room had good amenities, though it was a bit congested. Thankfully, I was staying alone, so it wasn’t an issue. There’s no parking available at the hotel, so if you’re travelling by car, I recommend parking at Cardiff Central Train Station Carpark, it’s just a 2-minute walk and reasonably priced.」

「This is our third visit to this hotel. Our room was on the third floor, accessible via the lift and overlooked the waterfront. Comfortable, spacious and very clean. Parking cost £10 for 24 hours which we thought was reasonable. It’s an easy walk to the Millennium Centre for shows and events and everything else that Tge Bay offers. Staff are always friendly, especially check in staff and the lady who hosts breakfast. Breakfast is great with plenty of food and a good coffee machine. We particularly liked the care and attention from the lady who hosts breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble.」

「Like a few hotels in Cardiff, the Marriott is really convenient for the railway station. We chose it because we have stayed there before and enjoyed it. The reception staff were polite and friendly. The room (Superior Double) was quite roomy - but where were the bathrobes? The noise from the streets is quite loud, but it was a Friday night, so to be expected, really. We went to the Utilita arena for a concert, and it was a five minute walk away. I had earplugs to use in the hotel, very useful because of the inconsiderate guests who chatted loudly in the corridor at 1130pm. Comfy bed, in fact, a very comfy bed. Unfortunately, our room had an interconnecting door, and we were woken up early by loud guests next door discussing their plans for the day. Something to9 avoid next time. Breakfast was ok, not the best - but adequate, though. The Cardiff lady with the 'top-knot' who said ”yoh” instead of ”yes” like a true Afrikaans was lovely and very welcoming. In fact, every member of staff we spoke to was nice. I'd stay here again, but maybe only at the beginning of the week.」

「I had an enjoyable stay at the Staybridge suites in Cardiff. I had a good size room with amenities such as all kitchen needs etc. Good lighting in the room and bathroom, shower had two head options, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is available and topped up regularly..even 10 mins before ending. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and attended to our requests promptly. There is a car park on site however, it does get quite filled up by the end of the night so it is first come first serve. Overall, a very nice stay.」

「Amazing location that is right by the city centre. Staff were really friendly and we were made to feel super welcome all the way from arrival until we checked out. Room was clean, tidy and warm which was really nice in the colder weather. There wasn’t a huge amount of amenities but for a small hotel the amenities provided proved just enough. Overall super pleased and will definitely be returning for our next trip.」
