Very nice place and the customer was very helpful, everyone was good

This hotel is an absolute joke. When I arrived I was nearly sick with how vile the place was. Piss in the elevator, people smoking inside, empty beer cans on the floor. My room had blood and other stains all over the carpet. I’ve seen cleaner squats! They triple charged me for the pleasure and despite repeately chasing for my refund, I have been continually ignored.

Nice, clean, well located hotel. Staff were very friendly, especially Giulio who accepted my terrible attempts at Italian! I would recommend the meal deal, receipt is even shown in days/meals for reclaim purposes! No parking though... But not an issue for me as I read on the train, and it's right next to the station!

Blood stained sheets when I arrived, few more things but essentially would not return. Hotel staff not very helpful either

Stayed two nights here for a family event. Location was perfect as I arrived to Chelmsford by train, the hotel is just across the road. Received a warm welcome and had a super room, quiet, large bed and a bath. Food was good, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would recommend and will definitely return here. There is no parking at this hotel.

- I overpaid. I paid 177£ , other guests paid 80£(still to know why?) - The hotel and room smell was awful - Check in was slow (had to do self check in at the end) - Food got cleared from table even though I wasn’t finished - The cleaner woke us up walked in our room around 11am. Check out is at12 That was 1 day. Overall, NEVER AGAIN.

Recently stayed at premier inn Chelmsford, we were in need of a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before we left. This was perfectly placed for our needs although the room was very tired and in need of attention. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and breakfast as part of the meal deal which I would recommend. Staff were very friendly and polite, the man who served us in the restaurant in the evening was very very polite and a credit to the hotel. If I stayed again I would consider trying an upgrade on the room although it was adequate for our needs. We were also able to leave our bags at reception and return to collect them later which was good and buy bottled water at reception.
