Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. From the friendly yet professional reception staff on arrival, the housekeeping team who kept the hotel spotless, too the helpfully and cheerful restaurant staff I can't fault this hotel. The gardens were gorgeous and the pools and loungers kept clean. The general tidiness and presentation of the hotel was spot on (the hotel also smelt amazing 🤷). This hotels has little details that make a difference, such as providing water on departure and the buffet policy (breakfast and dinner) of keeping the food available till everyone has left the restaurant (unlike most hotels who remove the food whilst you are still eating), these things make a difference. Food was excellent and the general ambience very agreeable. The best hotel in the area by far.

It was one of the nicest places we have stayed in and the staff were super helpful and friendly. It was a truly magical place and I wish we could have stayed for longer than 2 nights as it is a perfect place to unwind. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast was out of this world. My only criticism is that I felt that the water temperature in the outside pools was a bit too cold to swim comfortably towards the end of September. I will very happily go back again.

The property itself is very impressive, the rooms are well appointed, fresh and clean. The staff are helpful and courteous. The grounds are spectacular, beautifully landscaped. It is located near an outstanding beach, one of the best in Spain. However, while the beach is accessible from the resort, it is not directly on the beach and has no facilities on the beach. If you want to relax on the beach, you'll need to rent loungers from one of the many beach clubs. The resorts does have many pools to choose from, a spa and a gym. It's shortcoming was the food, the breakfast buffet was just ok, the dinner buffet was definitely not 5 star worthy. We were in the area for a week, Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the local restaurants we tried either. We would return return to the area as the beach is amazing and far less crowded than some of the other Costas, yet we would try another resort because of the food.

Amazing Beds and pillows. Perfect for a good nights sleep. I just love it here. I am a return customer and choose the Royal Hideaway every time I need to get away from the hassle and buzzle of a city and need to unwind.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with polite and friendly staff. All the catering staff were super friendly too. The gardens and pools in this hotel is what set it apart from all other hotels and of course the spa would be a huge draw for people. Super clean and comfortable rooms and the breakfast was fabulous. All tastes catered for and a huge array of healthy foods with a fabulous smoothie counter, where you can have any smoothie of your liking. A fabulous long weekend. The only downside to this hotel is the inside bar. A weird location and completely soulless. Other than that i give it top marks for everything and will definitely be coming again.

A 5 star luxury resort in every aspect in a fabulous setting on dramatic Atlantic beach. The room, gardens, pools, staff, food and beverage offering were all to the expected high standard. A real sense of care pervades the whole estate.

The customer service is horrible!!!!! At first I made a reservation and they made two and refused to cancel the original. Eventually I spoke with the manager who eventually agreed. Now I have a family emergency and can not make my trip. Paco at reservations was rude and refused to refund my money even though I called over a week in advance. I would STRONGLY recommend not reserving at this hotel. If you do they may steal your money.

Beautiful hotel. Came with another family and our children (all under 10). As a 5* I was a little disappointed for a few reasons: 1. Pools are freezing and not open until 11.00!! This is too late for a family hotel in my opinion. No need. They could allow access and it is parents responsibility if they are going to use lifeguards as excuse. 2. Kids club is awful. Small “shed”. Don’t even bother looking at the schedule as I don’t think they follow it. After 1 hour our kids never wanted to go back the whole trip. 3. The food was good but the buffet was quite limited for options. Breakfast was the same each morning. 4. No real entertainment in the evenings after dinner? Couldn’t even find music as it stopped at 8.30 (only one day we were here also). All in all, as a 5* they could do much better and learn from other places.
