タウン ハウス モーテル チコ(Town House Motel)

I saw on ******* that the property had a 4.8 rating (which I thought was out of 5.0). Later I discovered it was out of 10.0 and one of the worst hotels in Chico. After we checked in, I took a shower. When I opened the towels, I found they were covered in black splotches and had several black hairs stuck to them. All the towels were filthy. I got dressed while soaking wet since there were no clean towels, and we were offered another room. This time only half the towels had black spots, but the floor had not been vacuumed. There were moths and bugs on the floor. Also, the first room had no microwave or refrigerator, but had a coffee maker, but the second room had both a microwave and refrigerator but no coffee pot The sink stopper in the first room was broken so the water didn't drain, and the lights in the ceiling were broken in the second room. The grout around the bathtub was disgustingly black. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable so we were able to sleep, but we hightailed it out of there in the morning. Not a good feeling.

The property was ok for the occasion. The price was high but it was graduation week. Pool has been fillled in.

It was a very basic motel. I chose it cause it was pet friendly. The room was fine, a bit small. The facility was quiet, dog area was close and pretty clean. The family who ran the motel are nice people.

The people that run this place is amazing. Very nice and helpful plus it's quite for the most part

Very quiet and calm.

Upon checking in I was greeted by a young lady who was very pleasant and made checking in easy and nice. Secondly, I almost winced as I went in expecting the worse from reading the reviews, but the room was nice: nice paint, everything worked, plenty of lighting and air conditioner was efficient, plenty of hot water, towels and bed linen was clean. You might want to know that there is no pool - it looks like there was one once, but the area is completely filled in, it must have been recent because the pool furniture etc. was still lying around. Now, this is a very quiet place, not by the freeway, which is why I choose it - it seems like it's hard to find a hotel in Chico that's not by the freeway! Very quiet and peaceful stay, I would come back, wish they had a pool. Oh, flat screen tv but not a lot of channels.

Left charge cords behind. Staff was very helpful in trying to locate them.
