"After being out all morning for graduation, we returned at 1:30 to a room not yet cleaned. My request for fresh towels was handled so bad by all involved. While the property is nice, the service was atrocious. The manager on duty could have said, I see you have a dinner reservation with us coming up, is it ok if we clean them. Instead, I was treated with hostility. The manager asked for two other men to witness him telling me that they clean rooms until 5pm. That’s their policy. If I didn’t request an EARLY cleaning, that’s my problem. Me, a 130lb 61 year old women need a full “security” force to voice my dissatisfaction. Instead of a customer focused de escalation, how can we make this right, the manager who told me he’s a Marriott diamond member and knows good service chose policy over service. The hotel called me before my visit to offer a restaurant reservation which I took. When we checked in, the front desk said, we have a room ready now, if you’d like to check-in, there’s a $35 charge. It was 1:30. They can find time to clean checked out rooms early to get extra fees and make restaurant reservations but they can’t figure out how to service customers once they’re checked in. Btw, our restaurant service was also not great. The bottom line, they’re focused on Sales over Service. For $599 per night, I expected better."

"Owners are very nice trying to make a living on a shoestring. However, this is perhaps the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Everything is on the cheep and tacky. Furnishings that clearly came from the bottom end of a second hand store. The rooms smell strongly of disinfectant but are clean. WiFi doesn’t work. Ice machine is broken. The pool is unusable hasn’t been maintained and is just an algae pond. The grounds are unkept and littered. An insect scampered away when I turned down the bed. The rooms have been painted over but there is over spray everywhere. There has been an attempt at a fix up but with cheep materials by someone without basic skills."
