Excellent service; great food; cleanliness excellent! Sarahi, our Concierge, was readily available and helpful. Manuel, the Activity Director, taught us how to play pickle ball, conducted water aerobics classes and volleyball. He also made us Mexican bracelets using “Mexican Magic.” Nice variety of live music and entertainment. Our butlers took good care of us: Javier and Jesus. The Pool Concierges were very attentive.
My wife and I had our honeymoon here in August of 2024 and had an excellent time! The pools, Spa Otomi and location are all fantastic. Food is pretty good for staying on property. The best part of the whole place is the owners club only 18+ pool. There we had the best service from Raul, Victor and Daniel. All 3 of them went above and beyond and were great!
We came here to celebrate our first anniversary after getting engaged at the rooftop bar two years prior- and the Cape did not disappoint! From check-in to check-out, the experience was perfect! Friendly staff welcomed us into the hotel and checked us in, with a lovely mezcal and water to refresh! We enjoyed a lovely lunch looking onto the beach before popping down to the pool for an afternoon swim. We lucked out with a cabana spot and enjoyed the tunes that the DJ played. We really loved that while it was dance music, there were many remixes of songs that most people at the hotel would probably know, so the vibe was more “let’s have fun” than “dance party”- this is SO GREAT for people not looking to be forced into a club at the pool (we’re too old for that!) but who want to have some fun and enjoy! Really loved! The room was great, large bathroom, lovely balcony with a romantic swing. We adored the tequila and chili candy pairing and really appreciated the extra attention to our anniversary celebration (a surprise prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries awaited us in-room when we returned from dinner!) We can’t wait to come back next year and stay longer! A particular shout out to Angie, Fer and Abraham who were so wonderful in checking us in, out and making sure we would be back! Thank you!
This is our third time to stay at Villa la Valencia and we came down for Thanksgiving in Cabo. The resort is wonderful and has a very serene adult pool and a magnificent infinity pool with great ocean and beach views. The sunrises are magnificent! Check in and check out is easy and we especially appreciated Luz at checkout. I had a special need and she was very accommodating and helpful. We are coming back in February and look forward to another great stay. The staff everywhere is very professional and accommodating.
The hotel is perched on a hilly location but with a fantastic view of the sea. The rooms are well presented with all the modern amenities present to make it feel homely. The only issue was the wifi which can be unreliable sometimes as it kept cutting off. There was no information about any activities, I only stumbled on the live piano night at the bar through the advert in the lift and that was the only nightly activity that we attended. It would have been nice to have live music or other activities nightly. The rooms are cleaned daily, if you are opting out of the all inclusive, which e did, you have all the amenities in the kitchen to cook your own meals. They also run a porter service where you can request to be picked up from your room by buggies to transport you to different restaurants or the main reception as this resort is huge..
We had an incredible anniversary trip through our Marriott Vacation Club. We were given a high room with a gorgeous view. The views at this hotel are absolutely incredible. It has to be top ten views of my life. Vacation club owners have access to a private infinity pool that has amazing sunsets. The walk from the vacation club rooms to the main area is quite long but we did love the main big pool. Great energy, happy 2 for 1 deals, and gorgeous pools. We loved the little market for quick Starbucks runs and their to go pizzas. There is a grocery store, Frescos, that is under 10 minutes by Uber. I recommend taking Ubers, rather than taxis. They are less expensive. All drivers were great! Ubers can’t go to the lobby pick up so you have to go to the security areas. We just asked for a golf cart to bring us up and down - no problem!! The hotel is right between San Jose and San Lucas so it’s easy to go to either. Our room was beautiful with a jacuzzi outside. The staff was phenomenal. They even set up an anniversary flower display on our bed with balloons. Luis Leonardo, the concierge, was very helpful! Everyone that works there was great! For food, I loved the ceviche at the pool. We ate mostly in our room. Bring a big Stanley or a camelback to stay hydrated. A lot of people also had pool floaties that they bought from Amazon. We didn’t have them but they looked great! Know that the ocean is mostly for looking at. It is always a red or black flag which means no swimming. We had a fantastic stay and thank the whole Westin staff for their hospitality!
ゲゲストI called 6 hours before check in to find out if we came before 3:00 check in time, would I be able to get into our room. The front desk manager told me there wouldn't be a problem. When I got there at 2:00 she told me that we would have to wait until 3 pm for a room unless I wanted to pay to upgrade to a suite. She did find me a room, it was a queen, and cost less however she still charged me for a king. The handicapped parking spaces are behind the hotel and you need to be able to climb 9 stairs. I asked if the manager was there and she said yes. I asked to speak to him and he never called me. I have stayed at this hotel about 6 times and there must be new bad management. About the room, it's very tired. There was a can light over our bed that flickered on and off all night. I always check the clock in the room and this one was off 1 hour. How long ago was the time change? This is my go to to see if a hotel is well run. This one isn't. My husband couldn't shower because he wasn't able to climb into the tub. The kings have walk in showers not tub showers. In all the years of being a care taker this is the first time that this has happened. Karma will pay that front desk manager a visit. I hope she remembers why. Thanks to the maintenance man that helped my husband stand up. He's one of the good ones.
Hello I enjoyed my Week stay from December 23-30 2023.This is a Basic cozy & comfy Mexican style Hotel.I was in a Ground Floor Room 402 the Room it's self was big there was also a Bar Fridge & even a Stove to cook food & a Microwave plus the room also had Air Conditioning.I like the sliding door there was a little porch which has 2 chairs where you could sit & watch all The Tropical Birds I had a very close encounter with a tiny humming bird while I was sitting outside one of my first Morning there.l also was given a ticket each Morning for a Breakfast there at The nice little Cafe there. To summarise I think this is a good no frills Basic Hotel with a decent size unheated Swimming Pool that's Centrally Located near Shops & Restaurants etc.I would recommend this to people who don't need an All Inclusive & don't need anything too fancy.I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again I liked the Staff there & down to earth charm of this Hotel..good stuff Alistair.👍
This property is situated where every room has beautiful views of Cabo San Lucas for sunset watching. There is a pool for every other building so, you can probably find a quiet pool somewhere close. It is a walkable 15 minutes to the nearest supermarket and a shorter walk to Oxxo. Bus routes are in front of the supermarket so not far to catch public transit. The condos are quite large and could easily accommodate a family or two couples, as each room gets a full bath with shower. The property is about a 10-15 minute walk down to a swimmable beach at Playa Cabo Bello. You can cut through the Misiones Del Cabo condo complex and use the stairs to get there otherwise its a long walk through the Cabo Bello condo complex. On the negative side, the condos are a bit run down, and we had a number of technical problems with hot water, AC, Fridge, TV remote. All were fixed within 48 hours but glad i knew Spanish to explain the problems. The appliances were a bit cheap and functioned ok, but not great. We tended to cook in our condo due to the outrageous prices at any of the local restaurants. If money is not a problem then I am sure you will enjoy a nice breakfast for $$$ at the restaurant.
Had a harrowing experience at OYO Hotel Plaza Las Torres in Cabo San Lucas – an urgent warning for fellow travelers. We booked a stay, requested a one-day reservation change due to unforeseen issues. Upon arrival, shock awaited us – the hotel charged the full fee for the new date, demanding the remainder without clear communication. Front desk staff, struggling with English and relying on Google Translate, suggested seeking a refund from *******. *******, however, revealed the hotel's responsibility for charges. In the scorching heat, over an hour of frustration ensued, with repeated pleas for assistance met with silence until insisting on restroom use. Misleading charges, unhelpful staff, and a refusal to refund make OYO Hotel Plaza Las Torres an experience I wouldn't wish on any traveler. Besides all of this the description says the hotel is close to downtown but once you arrive you notice you’re at least a 20 minute walk from the edge of downtown and seems to make you feel uneasy with the amount of misinformation and the disinterest to help.
