We’ve stayed here a couple times within the past month for both business and for doctor appointments. Overall both the stays were amazing. We stayed in the middle of March for two nights. (March 12 and 13th) During that stay we were assigned rooms on the 4th floor. Rooms 401, 403, and 405. 401 and 403 were a king suite, which they call “The Madden Suite” that connected to 405 which was a standard 2 queen room. Overall both the rooms were spotless and it was so nice having the suite connect to the other room. The beds also were extremely comfortable. I slept perfectly. We also stayed the beginning of April for one night. (April 2nd) During that stay we were assigned two standard king rooms on the 4th floor. Rooms 420 and 432. Both the rooms overall were spotless and had no hidden smells and funky odors. The beds also in both the rooms were extremely comfortable. The staff couldn’t of been any nicer to us. Caitlyn, Nicole, and Tony at the front desk are all amazing. Laura, the main housekeeper on the 4th floor is so sweet. She always takes great care of our rooms during each of our stays. They have always made us feel right at home on each and every single one of our stays. Thank you all so much for your incredible hospitality. We are already planning on returning later this month. We look forward to staying at this hotel again and again in the future. This is one of our favorite hotels in Columbus!!
I’ve stayed at Embassy Suites in Columbus, Ohio, for many years, but my recent stay from June 18-20, 2024, was very disappointing. I reserved an accessible room for my 89-year-old mother, who uses a wheelchair. However, when we arrived, we were told there were no accessible rooms available, and the reservation for such a room was not in their system. This caused major inconvenience: My mother had to use a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on the 1st floor, while we were on the 8th floor. I had to take her back and forth throughout the night which meant I didn't sleep much. She couldn’t shower during our stay due to the lack of accessible amenities in our room. The front desk initially said an accessible room would be available the next day, but that didn’t happen. I spent over an hour talking with Hotwire, who said I’d receive a credit for the inconvenience. However, I received multiple emails stating the hotel wouldn’t honor a credit. This experience has made me reconsider staying here again. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at a hotel I’ve trusted for years. I hope Embassy Suites addresses these issues so future guests don’t face the same problems. If you have a family member in a wheel chair, don't reserve a room here!
Arrived late evening to a very crowded , very loud party in the lobby. Check in was easy. Finished up routine so we could rest. 2 double beds , both with sunken in mattress in the middle and one with a broken frame. It was late, we were exhausted and didn’t want the hassle of calling, changing rooms or whatever. Tylenol pm zonked us out. Morning came and we were up to shower . To our surprise, no hot water. What are the 2 things main things most people hope for at a hotel? Good bed and a hot shower…. Fairfield Inn missed the mark on both! Spoke to the front desk and a manager was supposed to call . They did not. Never again !!!!
We had a wonderful time! Location was perfect and hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. This was the first Hyatt Place we’ve been to that had a waffle maker! That was a fun surprise! We definitely would stay here again if we are ever in the area!!
Is this the Four Points Sheraton (Marriott) forgot they owned?! The hotel is currently under renovation (not disclosed on the website). No bar or anything despite them being depicted as available on the website. The whole hotel seemed outdated. The third floor hallway looked like I was staying at an “America’s Best” or a motel. The shower was tiny, water pressure was absent and you either got burned or frozen by the temp. The toilet literally sat maybe less that two feet off the ground. This was apparently an adjoining room suite i which I got to listen to the neighbors tv and other noises all night long. If I were you I’d spend more money to stay somewhere else.
