Found it difficult to believe this was the entrance as it had three-trailer road trains parked all around it. Discovered that it’s more a place for mine workers, including those driving the road trains, than for travellers. Nonetheless there were travellers. Having arrived just on dark I didn’t get a chance to look around until the morning. It is a clean neatly presented quiet park with a good attempt at providing gardens under challenging circumstances. The laundry is free but it can be a challenge to get space on a clothes line. There are driers. There is a clean basic camp kitchen. The amenities block is kept clean. Staff are friendly.
