Yordi and Summer were amazing! Very personable and friendly staff members that are attentive and willing to be helpful. I was comped drinks at the bar and Starbucks during my first stay which encouraged me to want to book again. The decor is very modern Gatsby art deco and can’t forget about the star machine!
Staff took exceptional care of all of our needs. In particular, Said was very friendly and professional. Always made certain that we had anything we needed and if we didn't have it, he got it for us promptly. Unfortunately I only took pictures of some of my meals but they were all delicious!
I stayed here on points with my family recently, and I had a great experience. I stayed last year and returned this year. During that year, I think they have improved in some ways. They have opened their Club Lounge, which allows those with access to get coffee and snacks throughout the day. Instead of serving breakfast in the lounge, they allow those with Club Lounge access to take breakfast in the restaurant in the morning, which is also a nice perk. On that note, I want to recognize Rex. The staff in general was good, but Rex went above and beyond. When we arrived, the hotel was crowded with youth hockey teams and their families and coaches. We were told at check-in that we should check back on Monday morning because they thought that they could upgrade our room. True to their word, they upgraded us to a two-bedroom suite. Considering that we were staying on points, I was very pleasantly surprised. If I return to Columbus again, I would like to stay here. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the staff is attentive to the guests.
Arrived late evening to a very crowded , very loud party in the lobby. Check in was easy. Finished up routine so we could rest. 2 double beds , both with sunken in mattress in the middle and one with a broken frame. It was late, we were exhausted and didn’t want the hassle of calling, changing rooms or whatever. Tylenol pm zonked us out. Morning came and we were up to shower . To our surprise, no hot water. What are the 2 things main things most people hope for at a hotel? Good bed and a hot shower…. Fairfield Inn missed the mark on both! Spoke to the front desk and a manager was supposed to call . They did not. Never again !!!!
This was my second overnight at A Country Inn & Suites. This one, however, didn't quite measure up to my stay at a different Country Inn. We were relieved that we were still able to check in without difficulty quite late at night. The building was situated reasonably close to the highway but finding the actual hotel amidst other hotels and housing was a bit confusing. The pristine, spotless appearance of the public areas was the first thing I noticed. Unfortunately the lighting in our dark room was completely insufficient. We did eventually discover a lamp on the desk but the on/off switch was not intuitive and these very weary travelers simply wanted to unpack and fall into bed. Good thing the lighting in the bathroom turned out to be fine. But where were the additional tissues? We quickly used the few that remained from previous guests but could not locate an additional box. The bed was comfortable and we slept very soundly. Even though we could see traffic in the distance from our window, the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet and selection was just EH. But it got us through the final leg of our trip.
SSlatz MTaking this hotel experience as a whole I feel satisfied, as I paid 97 dollars on *******. Check in was a bit slow but acceptable. We had a 4th floor room. The room itself was quite poor. The couch was disgusting and should have thrown out years ago. All furniture was old and heavily worn. The bed was very soft. The bathroom was obviously recently remodeled and nice. A note of caution the tub floor was EXTREMELY slippery. The property was ni e and the common areas were ok. The elevator was slow and not in good shape. From prior reviews there were mentions of car break in s. ALough I did not experience this, I did observe several places that had auto safety glass on the ground. Take that for what it s worth. If I paid Flagship Marriott prices for this room I would have been highly disappointed and complained. For 97 bucks it was ok. I would not return here and would explore other options in this area
The rooms are advertised for $69 and last night I was charged $115.62. Will never stay in this motel ever again. This is one of the worst motels I've ever been to. Really sad that staff would rip people off.
MMisty DewaltWe booked the one night and check in was easy and fast. Went thru the hall doors to access our room and the hall was so smokey and smells of **** strong. Our rooms were clean. Vending machine ******. Morning breakfast don't exist. No pool. Over all for just a place to sleep it did its job.
