アル ポンティチェロ ルーム & ブレックファスト(Al Ponticello)

If you ever plan visiting Comacchio, there is just one place you should consider staying. Al Ponticello is a family owned B&B and our experience was fantastic. Very nice and quiet rooms in the center of this stunning little village facing one of the little channels. Sarah, Riccardo and the entire team are so nice and helpful in everything they do. They give you tips for excursions, restaurants, city trips… and offer organized sunset trips to Boscoforte which you should definitely do. They also serve excellent breakfast every morning, so that you always have a perfect start into an exciting day. With Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna on your doorstep you can easily plan for a week stay, and yes, if possible bring your bikes to explore the Po Delta National Park (there is also the possibility of renting bikes). Overall „a real home away from home“. Highly recommendable had a fantastic stay !!!

This was a fantastic place to stay and explore Comacchio. The hotel is aesthetically so nice inside, especially the downstairs area. The breakfast was excellent and the shower the best we have had on the trip. The bed was also very comfortable. But most of all Riccardo and Sarah were excellent hosts and it was great to see their passion for the environment and where they live. We would love to stay here again and venture out further into the Po delta. We came out of season but I'd still recommend it, we saw spectacular birds and the town is lovely. Thanks, Joe and Heidi x

A wonderful place to stay in a fabulous town. Al Ponticello is a lovely place to stay, right on the canal, with the added bonus of parking on site. Sarah and Riccardo couldn't have done more to make our stay truly memorable. A very nice room overlooking the canal, quiet and very comfortable Camacchio is a most beautiful place on the Po Delta. It is full of character and canals. Good restaurants and very peaceful, if a little busy at weekends. We hoped to see a few birds at the start of our Italian city trip. It could not have been better. Riccardo took us on a tour of the Boscoforte reserve which was truly remarkable. We were surprised by the quality and quantity of bird life that we saw. Bee Eaters, Rollers, Red-footed Falcon, Pygmy Cormorant, Egrets, Spoonbill and many more waders. We highly recommend a stay in this wonderful place which has the added attraction for birdwatchers. A trip to the Boscoforte reserve is a great experience for anyone who likes nature.

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel , lovely area and fantastic history , some great restaurants nearby , only downside was we only booked 2 nights ☹️☹️👌👌

Great breakfast in a comfortable eating area with homemade items including cakes. Friendly, knowledgeable proprietor Riccardo who also does interesting guided tours of the salt flats (recommended). Our room was slightly dated and tired but had a great view out of the window. Overall we very much enjoyed staying at Al Ponticello. We travelled there by train and bus. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from a bus stop. The buses are not frequent (service 331), typically hourly. One can get to the beach (Lido) easily by bus. We went to Lido di Spira which is bus 331 stop 098, approx 30 minutes from Comacchio. Comacchio itself is a quiet village with canals. Has a big supermarket and loads of restaurants. The museum is a must ... allow at least a couple of hours.

Excellent experience. We stayed at Comacchio for 9 days, and the staff at the B&B, made sure that our experience in Comacchio was excellent. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well appointed and with A/C. The breakfast was complete and included in the price. The staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We will definitely return.

Very nice and modern rooms despite the old building, Very nicely positioned in the Comacchio village. Welcoming and services does not properly match the complex, price a bit overrated. Some of the offered services - i.e. rent a bike - is not aligned with the product offered

Tout a été parfait. Accueil très chaleureux, hôtel doté de tout le confort. Notre chambre avait une superbe vue sur le canal. Le pdj était excellent. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Un point de chute idéal pour un séjour authentique et reposant. Riccardo connaît la région comme sa poche et nous a donné plein de conseils utiles.
