I stayed at this hotel as part of a watercolor painting tour. It was magnificent. All of the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, and on top of everything. I stayed in room 123 with a stunning view of the mountains and Mount Blanc. We ate in the restaurant for most of our meals, and it was completely delicious, and they remembered that I like ice with my water. One of the nearby fields had cows in it, and you could hear their bells gently ringing all day and night. It was a such a soothing and calming sound. The room was super quiet. especially at night. The shutters on the giant sliding glass door are a great addition, as it keeps the morning sun from hitting your eyes. I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat.

We loved this hotel. Spent two nights in a room.on the third floor with balcony and spectacular views of Mt Blanc. The room was very charming, good bathroom and separate toilet. We took half board and enjoyed two gourmet dinners which included a salad buffet, a cheese course and a dessert buffet with some wonderful choices. The mains were steak fries one night and lamb chops and polenta the other. Delicious.The staff was friendly, the pool and common areas were lovely and very inviting. I would go out of my way to stay here.

Loved this hotel, very old fashioned - but what a view! The room was comfortable and large in a very typical Savoyarde chalet style, the restaurant was very traditional but good quality with service gueridon (haven't seen service like that in 20 years...). Great value for money - just don't expect a 5 star experience - do expect one of the best views in the alps!

Remarquable hôtel restaurant où tout est fait pour satisfaire les clients. Chambre très spacieuse et confortable.au point de vue magnifique sur la chaîne du Mont blanc. Restauration délicieuse,variée et très copieuse. Personnel très aimable,aux petits soins pour les clients.

Nous avons eu une semaine merveilleuse dans ce très bel hôtel, type grand chalet ,aménagement et décoration tout bois.Nous avions choisi une chambre "vue sur le Montblanc", très confortable ( bonne literie) ,un accueil exceptionnel, une attention permanente de toutes les équipes, une très bonne table : tout est réuni pour avoir un séjour reposant.On sent , on est très sensible à l'atmosphère familial !

Décidés à passer un week end prolongé dans un décor et une ambiance agréables nous portons notre choix sur Combloux, ou nous avions déjà résidé avec bonheur dans la passé. Les hôtels de la station se faisant de plus en plus rares, nous identifions l’hôtel « Aux ducs de Savoie » qui est un magnifique édifice de type chalet en bois. Difficile d’accès par booking, nous avons l’heureuse première bonne surprise de parler à une vraie personne pour procéder à la réservation. Par chance il restait une belle chambre avec vue sur le Mont Blanc que nous avons bien sur retenue avec empressement. Arrivés sur place, passés les petits aléas de la rampe d’accès verglacée, nous sommes allés de bonnes surprises en bonnes surprises. L’accueil est très familial et très chaleureux comme dans les hôtels de notre jeunesse. Ayant choisi la demi-pension, nous profitons, le soir de copieux et délicieux diners plutôt traditionnels. Le matin petit déjeuner buffet avec la vue sur le Mont Blanc ; tout simplement magique! Le personnel est un peu « cash » mais vraiment très sympa, ce qui contribue aussi à rendre le séjour très agréable. En fin d’après-midi, le sauna et le jacuzzi permettent de récupérer des efforts de la journée en montagne, tout juste faut-il bien choisir son horaire pour éviter l’affluence. En résumé, un sans-faute pour l’hôtel « Aux Ducs de Savoie » que nous recommandons sans modération, été comme hiver. Merci pour ce super séjour.
