Outstanding apartment and complex. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Seaview apartment and the view is superb. Balcony was massive with 4 sunbeds and got the sun all day. If that wasn't enough sit back and watch the sunset whilst having a drink. Bars and restaurants were all great, reasonably priced with great service. Pool good with no issues getting a bed. It is on a hill but nothing if you are fit and mobile. Great wee shop on site opens until 4pm selling all you need and british newspapers. The bars all show sports and will accommodate your choice of teams etc. Good sports bar 5 minute walk(Union bar) All in all superb value with Jet 2 including private transfers so no issue with coach drop offs etc. Will definitely return
This was our 7th stay at the Gran Tacande over Christmas and New Year and have generally enjoyed our break. I do agree with previous comment about jack hammers / noise coming from their new restaurant refurbishment though....we ended up going to the beach for the last week. My issue is we booked again for this Christmas and on arriving back thought we would try and book 1 extra night. The cost for this one extra night is 735.08 Euros??? (one room for Jan 4th). This is totally outrageous when considering this years prices are between 30-40% more expensive than last year. Hotel is in a great location / some staff are great...some clearly do not want to be there and not happy with the management...but 735 Euros for one extra night is making us think twice about revisiting. Advice would be to look around.....there are other / equally as good hotels in Adeje which offer better value for money based on the cost of 1 extra night.
There are absolutely no cons about staying at the Bahia Del Duque, it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is luxury, which also shines through its wonderful staff. No one can fault how helpful, kind and attentive the staff were. You are spoilt for choice, there are three pools to choose from, all just as nice as the other, each with their own dedicated bar area, and a huge choice of restaurants, although our favourite was the Beach Club at the bottom of the resort. The breakfast selection is wonderful, and the food at the restaurants are top notch, we even got to dine at the exclusive villas restaurant twice, not something we will forget in a hurry. The rooms were cleaned daily and turned down every night with a nighttime chocolate left. The hotel was clean, tidy, hygienic, and always smelt nice. We cannot recommend the hotel and experience enough. You won't be disappointed 💛
Just got back from 10 nights (6th Dec to 16th Dec) at the El Mirador. So my simple review is of the prestige section of the hotel as we stopped in room 1208. Firstly firt time here in this adults ony hotel, on arrival everything looked and felt very impressive with very kind and welcoming staff, we got a basic tour before being taken to our magnificent room that had a lovely balcony with two chairs and two sun lounges. The room came with its own mini bar and wine fridege plus jars of snacks etc (the chocolate cones are amazing) these are filled up each and every day with the simple request to have more soft drinks as I dont drink alchohol also adhered too which was nice, I have to say my wife does like a glass of wine but the wine in the wine fridge was all red wine, bit starnge we thought. The sunbathing area including the little booths that contain all drinks and snacks where perfect. Breakfast in the prestige section was simply brilliant. The spa was small but if youre in pretige its free so we visited pretty much everyday. But the best bit about this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble, I cant rember all the names but Jonathon (butler) Davide (waiter at breakfast) are just two out of the many amazing staff. Today is Tuesday 17th December so first day back and Ive booked to go again for 10 nights on the 8th Febuary 2025, I have also upgraded the room to a ? I think its a junior suite in the pretige section so I am so looking forward to my second visit here. P.S we ate out at the evening every night bar our final night where we ate at the hotel restaurant, It was genuinely the best meal of the holiday, the Tacos plus the Guinea fowl was to die for.
Absolutely amazing. The architecture was beautiful and modern with exotic plants and open spaces. Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Large swimming pool with bridges to lead to an island in the middle of the pool (very deep!). Rooms were clean and well appointed - enormous bed but made it feel a bit cramped. Entertainment was provided by singers performing every night (til 11pm so hard to sleep before then if room above). Nice child’s room with a trampoline, table football and air hockey. Upgraded to the preferred club option which gives access to a lounge with free drinks and snacks from 1.30-7pm which we used instead of lunch! Good breakfast buffet. Only used the evening buffet once, was reasonable but not amazing. Some of the other onsite restaurants didn’t appear to have been open all week. The position was outstanding as many good restaurants were nearby and beaches with water sports only down the road. 10/10 would definitely recommend and visit again!

Love this hotel 2nd time visiting & just as excellent. Every single member of staff from reception, table cleaners, chefs, bar staff & the most excellent animation team were all so friendly & helpful. Reception: wonderful cheerful greeting on arrival, welcome drink & quick, friendly check-in. Rooms: bright, clean & modern, only tiny niggle our toiket flush was temperamental but maintenance guy arrived within 2mins to fix. Balcony: beautiful side sea view, only other quibble they are high & walled do can't see through them if sitting but so much going on in hotel not much time spent there anyway. Restaurants: chefs are amazing serving up outstanding food, selection is unbelievable, anything you could ever want & excellent quality. Always specials being made up & different themes each night. I particularly loved morrocan & Mexican nights. Beautiful poached eggs & salmon in morning! Different main roast meat or fish each lunch & dinner from roast turkey/ duck/ pork & crackling/ beef, all delicious. Even enough to satisfy my ver fussy kids with standard plain pastas etc. And the pancake guy works tirelessly some evenings making som brilliant creations/ fun shaped crepes, they were delighted! Even pool snack bar best I've seen on all Inc. Well stocked, hood choice & lovely sea views bit more chill for a less busy lunch. Animation: the animation team were great this yr, all so lovely. Particularly Haviere, Havi & Nino. Super enthusiatic & friendly, always engaging with guests in passing. Loved the aqua aerobics daily & bingo avo. Girls enjoyed kids club few times they went. The shows they put on themselves were really good especially greatest showman & Oceania. Outside shows were on to which were really good, magic show & acrobatics. Bar: drinks excellent on all inclusive, good choice & not watered down..good brands like Gordon's gin & proper Baileys, mojitos, cava all Inc. Bar staff friendly & efficient, never had to wait long to be served. Pools: slide pool is amazing for our girls 7 & 8, spent good few hrs there. All pools heated so no issues with being cold like some in Tenerife. Lifeguards occasionally spotted but often on phone but we catefully watch our children do no great issue for us... Overall hotel: they've done a good bit to decorate communal areas & looks much more inviting & modern than our last visit, nice touches. Guys are constantly touching up paint on walls etc so very well maintained throughout. Big bar is nice to chill in & usually has done live music playing in background. Pool table there too so hubby & dad were happy. We like the outside seating in evening think this could be made a bit bigger? Improved a bit but nice to get done drinks & air at night. Location: great location pretty much right on beach. Nice & central if want to shop/ go out for walks €5 taxi to aqualand & next to siam Park. 15min fro. Airport so quick taxi if doing own transfer. Thanks Bouganville for another amazing holiday, we will be back 😀
My wife and I stayed seven days at Sunset Harbour as part of a three stay vacation at three Diamond Resort Apartment units. Sunset Harbour is a regular choice as part of our Dimond Resort Membership and we have been coming here for over 25 years. The complex is built around two large pools, one deep, filled with sea water, the second larger pool is more shallow in parts for kids to play in filled with fresh water. The pools and the complex are very clean and tidy, with excellent little supermarket on site if required. There are kids clubs, granny clubs, and activities in the complex run by enthusiastic staff members. Or you can relax by the pool swim and cool in a limited degree. I say this as the only down side of the complex was some very poor sun beds, that have been sat on by some grossly weight persons. Plus many umbrellas that just cannot be opened easily even by those helpful muscular pool attendants with bulging muscles and square jaws. There is two Restaurants on site offering a wide once of meals. But with plenty others on offer just 50 m away outside the complex. The complex is very close to the main Fanabe sea front which hosts numerous, eating houses, shops and bars, there is no shortage these types of offerings. The apartments are clean, well maintained with air con and balcony with sun beds and table and chairs. If like us, you like to have some meals in then a small but adequate kitchen provides all the services of oven and hob with all the kitchen appliances you can work with to cook your own meals. An added advantage are two very good supermarkets on the right as you exit the top gate. The largest is One shop, turn right on exiting the gate and can be found on the left about two hundred yards on the left just tucked back from the street. This is a valuable asset if you like cooking in with fresh meats and cheese a speciality. We bought T bone and sirloin steak and a selection of fresh veg, which was fantastic at competitive prices. The smaller supermarket on the right before the One Shop, is a great place to get bread or fiz or beer and other breakfast and food items. There was no night entertainment on sight when we were visiting in Sept. It’s a plus if you like to sleep early, but entertainment is only a stones throw away. A great place to stay, but please management, nvest in time to **** out that terrible pool furniture.
PPhoebe LMe and my friend stayed at this hotel for the first time it was very lovely our room was clean, entertainment was brilliant, staff are very friendly, service was brilliant, was a brilliant location everything we wanted to do was within walking distance would definitely stay here again!
Booked this hotel for my 50th Birthday, been to Tenerife many times always stayed Las Americas area , myself, my husband and my 10 year old daughter stayed here. When arriving in room it was late, the next morning I cleaned the room which to me hadn’t been cleaned that well. Saturday 26th October 2024 we all had a meal in the Regency which all I can say is I wouldn’t feed this to an animal horrendous. Sunday my husband was ill with bad stomach , we booked to go to Loro park Monday we didn’t get as my daughter was ill bad stomach and also myself which resulted in us loosing £100 as we were ill. Had to check out Friday 1st November asked if we could keep room on told no as hotel was fully booked , asked if they could recommend somewhere near was told this would cost £, I explained we would pay just for the ease of having a room but couldn’t help. All in all we still enjoyed the rest of our holiday but had to watch what we ate ..
This is my Mum and my second holiday to this lovely hotel . My Mum is disabled and I have mobility issues, we requested through LoveHolidays a room on the ground level. We had a better room than we did the first time with a walk in shower, which was absolutely brilliant for us both. The food is lovely. The staff were helpful and the hotel is immaculately clean. Drink was great and the little snack bar was good for a little pick at through the day. The entertainment staff Ricardo ( who was there the last year we came ) and Marta were amazing. Made so much effort but not overbearing. Marta is an absolute delight . The hotel is local to shops and bars and the beach is about a 10 minute walk away . The only thing I would moan about is the WiFi , its pants ! And the AI finished at 10.30 . You have to pay after that . Should be a little later in my opinion. The pools are lovely. One is quiet the other one is more lively with music and the aqua and games etc . So you can choose where you want to be. Please don’t be put off by bad reviews . Don’t expect a five Star hotel . You get what you pay for and it’s brilliant for a nice reasonable priced break ! We will be back next year!!
