Great location and lovely looking building from the outside. Rooms are ok but that is about it, they need refurbishment, are very dark and have no balcony or terrace, just one tiny window facing outside. A very basic place with quite old rooms and run by a very strange family... terrible a**osphere and there was a male receptionist/part owner with a real chip on his shoulder. Plenty of places to stay in Cuenca and this place is certainly not boutique - it is purely marketing for a very basic place to stay that needs a face lift.

I was supposed to get parking included,they charged me extra and when I got there they told me I didn’t have amy reservations.

Great location and beds, and clean. Iffy wifi, expensive for what it is, rooms rundown, no hot water in evenings but very hot every morning regardless of time or weather.male staff make you feel very uncomfortable, feels like your staying in someones house with children running around, not a hotel, although lovely building outside. Plenty of far better cheaper options and in no way a real hotel or bputique

The hotel is pretty, unique, and safe. Our room slept 5 which was great. The only disappoin**ent was that even though the hotel is clearly advertised as including breakfast we were told at check in and again later that day (after I reviewed my reservation and the website) that we don’t get free breakfast included with our stay. We were told we didn’t book the option that included breakfast. Even after I said that our reservation and the site said it was included I was still told no. The false advertising was a bit annoying but otherwise it was a good stay for a single night.

Aleros is situated in the historic center of Cuenca, so you can reach most interesting places on foot. There is a beautiful patio in the building, and the rooms are spacious and cozy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They serve a simple, but good breakfast. Although it was written on the website, there was a laundry service available, that was not the case. But there’s a laundry place just down the street, so no problem.
