大理悅灣·VILLA半山オーシャンビューホテル

We've made our decision to stay at Villa Joy at very last minute. The hotel is at the eastern coast of Erhai, it took around 35 mins ride from Dali Station, luckily the transport was prearranged by our designated housekeeper 小鹏. Lobby is at 4/f, very spacious,staffs are very friendly. Our room is located at 7/f, our room was okay, can see the sunrise and also the sunset of Cangshan Mountain but it requires some repairments of the roof shade. Overall, this hotel is very instagramable, you can take a lot of pictures on different floors.

One of the best experience we had in a hotel. Location was about 40 minutes from Dali, and the transport was prearranged by the staff. It is a beautiful hotel with many photogenic spots overseeing the lake. So peaceful and serene. The best part is the attentive staff who took care of everything for us from start to end. Our designated housekeeper 青柠 even followed up to check on us if we made it to our destination safely. They really go above and beyond. Would love to come back again.

Super nice and clean hotel with top-notch service! They upgraded us due to rooms available. The hotel also prepared yummy breakfast, teabreak and night desserts for us everyday. FANTASTIC STAY! Hands down, one of the best hotel stay experience we had. The entire hotel and the room interior were designed to be simple yet classy and gives off the beach holiday vibes. The room is a “smart room” with most functions like the lights, music and curtains to be controlled by “小爱同学”, just like google home. In addition, they have butler service during the entire stay and the service our butler 青柠 provided was super duper impressive and she always tries to go beyond. Knowing that one of us was celebrating birthday, she even prepared an entire cake for us. As we only stayed for a night, she specially tried to make arrangements to book a photography slot for us even thought the schedule was full. The afternoon tea and goodnight desert soup, were delivered directly into our rooms for us. Definitely coming back to yuewan on my next visit to Dali!

We stayed at this hotel for a night during our trip to Dali. The hotel was new and very instagrammable. We were checked in to a room with no view despite paying for a sea-view room, but this was resolved by the staff by offering us an available sea-view room. The hotel staff were extremely attentive. Kudos to 小俊, our personal butler, who provided a lot of information over WeChat and was very prompt with his responses. They provided a variety of snacks, fruits and drinks and even a bowl of “goodnight sweet soup” each at night. Breakfast was mainly Chinese but was delicious! The room was large and clean and offered a good view of Erhai. Room amenities were well-stocked and room facilities were top notch - the room was equipped with smart home technology and there was also a projector for home entertainment. The only downside to this hotel is its location (Wenbi Village), which is far away from the main sightseeing spot in Erhai (S湾) and from the train station. The village is, however, tranquil and peaceful. Great stay overall!

The hotel’s service is excellent, providing lots of care and attention. Especially the butler “青柠,” who took very good care of us, ensured our stay was comfortable, and frequently checked on us. She also provided recommendations for places to visit and responded quickly when needed. Even when we were out of the room, she delivered tea break snacks and desserts. After we checked out, she also checked if we had reached our destination safely. Because of her outstanding service, we will definitely come back and stay again. 酒店的服务非常好，提供了很多关怀和服务。特别是管家“青柠”照顾得很周到，确保我们的住宿舒适，不时关心我们的情况。她还为我们推荐了值得去的地方，并在我们需要时迅速回应。即使我们不在房间时，她也会送来茶点和甜点。即使我们退房后，她也会关心我们是否安全到达目的地。因为她的优秀服务，我们肯定会再回来入住。
