Staff were really lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble and the food was really nice also. The lady on the reception and bar was so lovely and she made a fuss of my girls which was so nice. I stayed in a family room, just myself and my two children. The room was very spacious with a double bed, two singles and even a sofa in the little lounge area. It had all the essentials including a kettle with tea and coffee, a big enough TV, a big bathroom with a bath and shower. Shower gel provided and lovely fluffy towels, hair dryer if needed and the beds were very comfortable. The wifi was also decent. However it is very dated, it could do with updating the rooms slightly. It was very dull looking and could use some fresh paint, some of the plugs didn't work and one had a big crack down it, which didn't seem safe especially in a family room where kids are staying. It could also do with some black out curtains especially with lighter nights as one of my girls struggled to sleep because it was very light in the room even at 10pm. There was also a lot of noise coming from above but that wasn't the hotels fault but the inconsiderate people staying there letting their child stamp around and shout and scream until nearly midnight. But not a bad hotel. And we had a plesent stay.
