Kelsey provided great customer service. She was welcoming and had a great personality for this job. The hotel was bright and clean! And I loved the Christmas tree. This hotel offered gym and free breakfast! You can't beat it. Will be back!

I stay in the area monthly. I travel with my med alert 8lb. canine. I always carry her papers, yet I was told by your neighbor Springhill Suites, they were not allowed to ask. SOSi walked into lobby with me. The desk clerk said there was a charge. I told her she was a med alert. She stated,” if she is just emotional you need to pay” It was dark & raining, but I went to car to get her the papers. She never made eye contact with me after that. I felt un welcomed. The next am I arrived late for breakfast. 9am. All left was cereal & packaged oatmeal. I asked. I got oatmeal & water. Then housekeeping staff came & was given bread for toaster. I would not stay there again.

I'm a bit of a conservation nerd, and this property made me very happy in that there weren't multiple trashcans with trash bags...there was a bag if I needed it. The accommodations in the room were not elaborate...which I loved. Hard surface floors made me feel like it was cleaner than a carpeted floor. And I easily found a water bottle refill station. And for folks with families, there was a great gathering spot downstairs with games and food. I'm a new fan of Tru!

The women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

We had a very nice stay for one night. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. I especially liked the self service bar for a night cap after a long day's drive. The rooms were clean and the property well looked after. Easy on/off to Route 95. My only concern was the trucks on the highway. Next time I will ask for a room that does not face traffic.

Rooms are not huge but extraordinarily well planned and furnished. Everything you might want from a hotel room is easily available--from a terrific, safe shower to clothes pegs everywhere you might want them to comfy beds and clean, well lit surfaces. Well done, Tru room planners. You researched all your guests' wants and delivered...in spades!

When our family checked in, the room was so smoky and not somewhere I would allow my children to stay for a night and breath in that air. The hotel was completely booked and they couldn't move our room. I will never stay at another Tru by Hilton property.

The hotel was great. It was great the last two times we stayed there. But this time we went further into town to go eat. Down in the middle of Ashland is a collection of small local restaurants and places to eat. We ate at The Iron Horse. It was very, very good. I recommend it for dinner. It is at the rail road track crossing. There is The Caboose and a few other places right around there to eat. I would recommend them all.
