Hotel in rural setting surrounded by lovely countryside. Comfortable spacious double room for just me, excellent food with good variety of choices on evening menus. Efficient quick service in restaurant. Friendly a**osphere throughout hotel. Rob Roy path behind the hotel runs alongside a river to take you into village of Aberfoyle.

For the money we spent, we had a good stay! The room was clean and tidy, warm and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely - good choice and all freshly cooked. Friends stayed a local, much more expensive and higher starred hotel but we definitely stayed in the better/nicer location here! Would recommend for a local stay!

Again another great stay at the Rob Roy, great value. We were there for Elvis tribute last April and now this year Tom Jones, great nights. Staff fantastic always smiling which makes a change from other places. Food good with choices. Fantastic value now booked for November Lionel Ritchie and Motown. We are looking forward to another great stay at this fun and happy hotel.

I bought my parents a stay here for their Chris**as present. We decided to stay on Saturday for the Tom Jones tribute and I'm so glad we did! It was a brilliant night, the food was delicious and the entertainment was fabulous! Also the bar prices were reasonable for a hotel. All the staff worked hard and were very courteous. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious, all fresh food and tasty with plenty choice of food, tea, coffee and juices. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious, let's be honest you only sleep in it anyway. Well equiped with hairdryer, iron, ironing board, hand wash, shower gel etc. All in all a great stay and my dad, who is in a wheelchair and doesn't get out very often, had the best time ever! We will definitely return for another tribute night as it's great value for money.

Attended the Tom Jones tribute night with friends. The reception staff were polite and friendly. Hotel rooms were a good size, spotless, beds comfy, hairdryer, kettle and ironing room. The food at the dinner was beautiful, great choice, good portions and piping warm. Waiting staff were all friendly and efficient. Tom Jones tribute was excellent, so much fun was had. Bar prices are reasonable for a hotel. The buffet breakfast was delicious, large choice of hot and cold food, cold drinks and hot drinks. We would all reccomend staying here and we will be back.

The main thing to say about our stay, and the hotel, is that the staff were excellent, every single person we encountered was friendly and genuinely seemed to want to look after you. From my experience this is rare these days and it actually made the stay really good. This hotel and tribute event did what it said on the tin, you got what you paid for. Simple, clean and warm accomodation. Good hearty food at dinner and breakfast and a fun night with good entertainment. All really great value and worth a visit. The only thing I would say is that the outside area and exterior of building does not reflect the experience you get when you cross the door. Well done team Rob Roy we had a great wee stay.

We were here on a 2 night deal which included breakfast and evening meal both days. Buffet breakfasy was fresh and hot. Nothing elaborate but certainly satisfying. Plates cleared quickly. 3 course evening meal was lovely with a different menu each night. Staff were quick, friendly and efficient. there were 2 bus parties from England but they dined in different dining rooms. Rooms were nothing fancy but spotlessly clean with a powerful Mira walk-in shower. Parking was ample but the spaces to the rear of the hotel had water-filled holes that had to be avoided getting in and out of the car. A great hotel for exploring the Trossachs!

Just back from another lovely two night stay at the Rob Roy. I absolutely love it there it's one of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. Lovely comfortable warm and clean rooms. Great food. Wonderful staff. What's not to like. Would highly recommend it.

Comfortable, friendly hotel with good food, entertainment and excellent staff in fantastic location for walking. Special mention for Karen who promptly arranged the return of a key I had left in my room - thank you Karen - it is much appreciated! A Edwards
