Everything from the room, staff, location, and breakfast was superb!

ドレスデン城の向かいにあり、建物が周りの景色に溶け込んで歴史を感じさせるホテルでした。室内は、とても上品に整えられていて、ベッドの寝心地も最高でした。 浴室も広く洗面が2ヶ所とバスタブ、シャワーが別になっていて、使い勝手が良かったです。 朝食は、食材の種類も多く、もちろんとても美味しかったですし、6時30分から頂けて、朝早くから移動する方たちにはとても良いと思いました。残念だったのは、1泊しかできなかったことです。

施設、ロケーションともに良かった

My wife and I have just departed the Taschenbergpalais after a stay of 5 nights. We reside in the U.K. and the hotel is one that we have stayed in many times in the past 20 years and so it is one we know well and love. We have to say that the remodelling and redesign is an absolute success. All the work has not been completed yet but throughout our stay, we were never disturbed at all by any rebuilding work. We stayed in a Palais View room overlooking the Zwinger Palace and it was quite superb with its blue panelled walls and brilliant new bathroom. The newly designed corridors and public rooms are breathtaking. However,what hasn't changed from the old Taschenbergpalais is the kindness and professionalism of all its staff One last word about the breakfast on offer here. It is superb with choices of egg dishes, fruit,breads,jams,marmalades,cold meats fish etc. If you leave here in the morning hungry, you haven't tried hard enough ! So,welcome back,the new Taschenbergpalais. The Grande Dame of Dresden is back and better than ever

Hotel Kempinski Dresden is beautiful. Its location in the center, opulent spaces, historical and modern artefacts, absolutely famous breakfast, modernized wellness with a beautiful pool and pleasant saunas. I have already had experience with a Kempinski hotel and I am always satisfied. Maybe I missed some welcome Amenity when I arrived in the room - fruit, sweets, welcome drink etc. as is common for such hotels. Otherwise, all my room requirements were met. Thank you very much.

This is the best and best priced luxury hotel we have ever stayed in. The location is excellent. Close to the Zwinger and Semperoper. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. The interiors were beautiful and well decorated for the Christmas season. Our room was fantastic. Beautiful furnishings in excellent condition. There wasn’t a mark or scrap on the walls or woodwork. The bathroom was huge with separate full tub and full shower. The hot water was very hot. Great linen quality. They have several restaurants to select from and interesting bars. We loved Dresden and if we come back we will definitely stay here.

Very impressive and historical hotel. Something like an icon in Dresden. You’ve the feeling of a king when you enter the palace. The staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious and with everything you expect from a 5 star hotel. Wellness area is very good. Didn’t like the breakfast area much. Looked more like a big station hall. Location of the hotel is excellent. Everything you look for is close by.

This excellent and beautiful hotel builds on the tradition of quality and service. The rooms are perfect. The hotel is enormous and offers a zillion rooms. It is therefore somewhat impersonal. The service is 300% correct and kind. It was a little weird there was a queue of people waiting to get into the breakfast room in the morning. We stood for about twenty minutes waiting for a table. But, once inside the breakfast was overwhelming. The choice was incredible and very good. Another plus is that the hotel is located in a perfect position to stroll into the old town of Dresden.

Did a short stay here with my wife as a Discovery Titanium member. Loyalty recognition was excellent! Perfect location in the middle of old town and next to the Dresdner Zwinger.Located in a historic building, we had a very comfortable and spacey Kurfursten Room with very high ceilings. The only negatives were a very low bed, a very thin mattress and a very tired carpet in the room as well as a tiny TV screen (computer like). Nevertheless we had a great time here, and would gladly return to this hotel on future visit to the great city of Dresden. Recommended!

If you are looking for a classical experience of luxury in Dresden, look no more. The bed and pillows are soft and crisp. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is as one would expect, a feast.

beautiful property at perfect location, but run by people who only pretend to be professional and decent while behind this facade they are rude and couldnt care less for their customers - and this runs right from the top management to the housekeeping

Very nice room (Deluxe), beautiful view on Theaterplatz, large and updated. Perfect service answering your wishes at once. The best location to visit Dresden. And for the price of a bad place in London or Milan....

During August we stayed at the Taschenbergpalais Kempinski for 6 nights. From the very first moment we parked the car outside the hotel we felt the professionalism and welcome feeling from the staff. The check-in process was quick but our room was not yet ready. The reception trainee immediately offered to store our luggage and move it to our room when it was ready. She also gave us restaurant recommendations for lunch while we waited and offered to call us when the room was ready. The room itself was very spacious with a really nice view of Semperoper and Residenzschloss Dresden. The safe and the TV felt a bit dated and the TV was stored in a cupboard, so we never really used it. There was always a complimentary bottle of water each day and the possibility to make your own tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom had both shower, a bathtub, and a separate room for the WC. The room was kept clean both on arrival and during our stay. During our stay, we requested extra pillows, iron, and an ironing board which all arrived very quickly. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was a delight almost every day. We got seated on the terrace with good space between the tables. The staff took orders for drinks and warm dishes by the table and then it was also possible to pick things from the buffé. This solution ensured that the breakfast was a calm experience and a good start to the day. On our last day it was raining so they could not serve outdoors, then the experience was a bit stressful as all the people had to sit indoors. There are a handful of good restaurants in the hotel such as a Parisian-style bistro, a classic German restaurant, a fish restaurant, a bar, and a café. Not all restaurants have the same opening hours and some are actually closed some days during the week. There are other restaurants just a few meters from the hotel, and if you really need something to eat or drink quickly, there is a restaurant called Alex on the square outside the hotel which is open every day until really late in the evening. The location of the hotel is perfect as the main sights of Dresden are more or less right outside the hotel. All restaurants and sights are available within 15 minutes' walking distance. If you arrive by car you can easily unload the baggage right outside the hotel if you talk to the concierge staff. The hotel is also offering valet service but if you don't want to pay that much for parking, there is a good-sized parking garage just behind the Semperoper. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to walk to the garage from the hotel and the garage is open 24/7. The hotel also has a small spa and pool area on the top floor with a sauna and bookable treatments. Children are allowed in the pool area at certain hours of the day if accompanied by an adult. During evenings no children are allowed, which is highly appreciated by me. It was a delight to stay at this luxury hotel with a very high service level and calm environment. If I
