Bring your Clorox wipes. If you're looking for a well cleaned room, this is not the place for you. The kitchen area was not clean at all. There was sticky stuff on the table and fridge handle/door. The chairs were very stained and dirty. The stovetop and microwave were very dirty as well. The bedroom and bathroom were better. Seems to be an older hotel. The hotel lobby was nice sized as we sat in the breakfast area and played cards with others. We didn't have the breakfast as we left both mornings before it was opened.

I cannot recommend the people here enough. The customer service was unbelievable. I won’t go into more detail so as not to reveal my privacy, but I was very impressed with everyone there. Bed and pillows extremely comfy. We booked a queen suite. The kitchen in the suite definitely could have been cleaner (we didn’t use it) and the hallways/elevator are dirty and worse for wear. No bugs or anything in the rooms, though! Some of the room doors look like they should be replaced and the hallways are very dark for some reason. Definitely worth the price, especially with provided breakfast. The people are amazing. Rooms are quite outdated, but it is a two-star hotel.

So I did try to give this place the benefit of the doubt after staying here at least 5 times in 5 different rooms on different times throughout the year but still got bit by BED BUGS in each room and this visit was no different. After this stay I will not return until they fix their BED BUG problem if it’s even fixable at this time. Each time I’ve stayed, I was bitten by BED BUGS in the bed all over my legs and some on my arms and back, on my previous visit I stayed in room 223 and let the front desk know and they said they would take care of it. This time around I stayed in room 333 specifically and I sat on the couch in the living room for all of 5 minutes eating and I start itching at the ankle and leg, it was 3 am by the time I got in my room so I didn’t want to go to front desk and say anything yet but the next morning when I got up I had bites all over and I went to the front desk and asked for the manager and he told me that he was aware that it was BED BUGS in some places and if I had a problem with it that I should not stay here anymore but he couldn’t give me any money back to refund my room for the extra night that I had. I will not return. It has been a kind of affordable stay at certain times when you need something last minute but that condition of this place is very poor along with the service and management. I will not return and not mention all of the pet hair all over the couch and sometimes the bed and chairs that get all over your clothes and luggage.

This hotel was semi-clean. The bedding seemed clean but my feet stuck to the hard floor. The sofa bed was beyond worn out and some of the kitchen cupboards were broken.

Stay was great, my wife left her jacket their and the clerk called us right away to come back and get it

Coffee pot had mold growing in it. Ceiling light in kitchen had dirt/mold inside the cover. Wires hanging out of a electrical box on the ceiling. Hide a bed had dirt/food crumbs under the cushions.

It looks good in pictures, but everything inside is old and out of date. I would swear someone was killed in the room we were put in. The door looks like it was beaten on, and there are places on the wall that need to be repaired, and what looks like blood on the back of the bathroom door.

Last minute decision staying in town for wedding. Found bed was extremely comfortable, however gum was left on the lamp on night stand. Upon bathroom use next morning, TWO cockroaches were roaming on floor, and many many dark hairs of all different lengths through the shower. Luckily I dont have a weak stomach for either, however very unpleasing circumstances.

We were in Dubuque, Iowa for my 50 year class reunion. We chose Main Stay because they offered a suite @ single rates. We were very happy with the room.
