Great hotel with great food near Plazh station where the train currently terminated and an airport transfer during the wee hours is very helpful for me

Not the best experience for our first night in Albania. This might be the Riviera of Albania but this was not a four star hotel. We found the floor towels to be dirty, the rooms poorly finished, the shower area not functional as there is no curtain or screen. The initial Receptionist was helpful with sorting parking arrangements but the next ones were not helpful at all. Mostly due to difficulties in understanding each other but also didn’t seem happy to help. The views were ok and location good. Restaurant was average, breakfast cold and mostly inedible. Coffee, ummm nup, don’t bother.

TBH, it’s clean and comfortable! Staff communication with English speaking tourists was somewhat limited! The most irritating thing was as 2 friends traveling together we asked for another key, the front staff called the manager to ask if it was possible and it was a point blank “No” if we wanted another key we would have to pay €10! Absolutely I would recommend searching elsewhere there are plenty of other options.

Traveling as friends in a twin room! Asked for a second key REFUSED BY MANAGEMENT! Very inconvenient and COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!

Very clean English is VERY POOR Parking is next to the hotel, you need to give the keys so that cars can be moved if people want to leave. Bit crowded city, we die understand. Very POOR breakfast, no croissants or nutella, dry bread!! They promised GLUTENFREE but it WAS NOT!!! Fortunately I recognize it!!! They gave me another sort of toast bread!!! Very long waiting times to order something and they always forget it… You only get 1 card for the room where the fridge cannot stay on or airco, so everytime very hot and needed to cool down. Friendly people but no English, slow and be patient! Be aware NO GLUTENFREE!!

Albanian service generally was difficult to get the hang of. Oftentimes, the people working the reception seemed very confused, and were watching videos on their phones or taking private calls while servicing you. Same goes for the waiters at the breakfast buffet, who seemed very indifferent and didn’t bother coming down to take our drink order; oftentimes, we would wait almost an hour for our morning coffee… The cleaning staff were super friendly, but forgot to bring new towels every day. The hotel room itself seemed strange; there was no shower curtain, so the entire bathroom seemed to be inflicted with fungus from being flooded with water. Also, the “beds” (one of which was a fold-out-chair) were very uncomfortable! And the breakfast buffet was almost inedible. I think the hotel has some things to work on, but the intention seemed good - and their location was spot on!

Arrived at the hotel to be told there was a power cut. We waited 4 hours without air-con, lights or running water. Eventually decided to book a hotel in another city & as we left hotel the power came back on. We were refused any sort of refund, even partial. Disappointed as hotel couldnt provide the service they advertised yet no hint of any compensation

The room was nice but it was a little loud in the evening. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful!
