Enjoyed our stay thanks to the microtel employees. I would definitely recommend and return for future trips. They even welcomed my dog (who may seem scary but is a sweet girl and service animal)

Apparently this hotel had experienced ice damage last winter. The room we were given was a disaster- it had clear damage and black mold. The carpet was old - had burns etc - the bed skirt was hornless stained. They gave us a different room. Not a ton better- there were mirrors for headboards- which had skin prints all over in the second room. The shower curtain was dirty it looked as though the shower hadn’t been cleaned- There was ice build up in both rooms refrigerators. This place looked like a pay by hour hote that was trying to be converted to a family hotel. It’s in desperate need of help. I think they don’t see how far they need to go- I can only imagine what it looked like before. Hard to believe this was part of a chain!

Room smelled like feet, in the worst possible way. Like dead feet. The was suspiciously sticky. The staff were extremely nice though. Just pug your nose and don’t take your shoes or socks off, you’ll be fine.

4 of us 2 rooms. All had good beds but mine ,where someone really big sit on it once maybe. Felt like it was truly broken from side to side.

Pillows were out of date; the room was very hot like being in a sauna; bed was squeaky. Had a hard time sleeping.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. But the room was dirty, the same light was burned out during two stays one month apart, the window wouldn’t open, and the handicap access and stairs weren’t shoveled for the two days I was there. They offer a very good price deal but sometimes the stay is barely tolerable when filth is found on the floor and in the bathroom.

There was breakfast every morning and the bed sheets and towels appeared to be clean. And for $44/night it was somewhere to stay semi-last minute but those are really the only positives. The room in general was not very clean. There were spills and stains on the walls, the carpet & baseboards looked very dirty and there might've been a blood stain. There was a hole in shower wall like someone hit it with a hammer. The kleenex and toilet paper were empty when I got there. The room i stayed in was loud at all hours of the night with the door to the stairwell slamming shut and shaking my room plus super loud stomping footsteps. The front desk and staff were friendly but there was one lady in particular that was always in her office. We spent a lot of time in the lobby and whenever someone was checking in or needed assistance at the front desk the lady was never available and i noticed people were annoyed having to wait or had to call her to help them. On my last day they shut the water off to my room to make some plumbing fixes. I went down for breakfast at 9 and there were no signs up but when i came down to out at 11 the signs were there but had been too late to shower, unsure if it was planned or an emergency but quite inconvenient to have no notice besides a sign on doors in the lobby. If you don't mind a little uncleanliness or the bare minimum this place is for you.
