The pictures of this hotel do not match the property in the slightest bit. We booked this room for a busy football weekend and paid over 200 for the night. We paid in advance through *******. We arrived to the hotel and left within 10 minutes of arrival due to the condition of the room. At check in, we were advised that there were no clean towels in our room. As we walked to our room, we could not help but notice the TONS of pet hair tangled within the carpet in the hallways, the overwhelming smell of bleach, bleached stained carpets and the cheap paint job in attempts to cover the neglect of the property. Stains on the pillow cases, damaged and dirty tub, toilet seat broken and not fully attached to the toilet, etc. The box springs did not have linens on them, allowing us to see the stained mattress. Lamp shades damaged and crumpled. We were so dissatisfied, we chose to leave the hotel and go book a last minute room somewhere else in the amount of $500. Worth the money to sleep in a clean room. After all of this, we were then charged an additional $180 to our credit card. I have called numerous times and was told that because we did not cancel our stay (no one was at the front desk, so we left our keys and left), we were charged anyways. We are not disputing our original payment. We decided, on our own, to leave with no notice. We simply would like our double charge returned but cannot get a manager on the phone. Every day, we are told he is not there and that there is a ”note” about this at the desk. The most recent excuse was the manager was ”outside dealing with something”. Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!
