Lovely staff, great decor, huge room, quiet and breakfast was great. 5 min walk to Princes Street and only 25min Uber from airport.

The hotel is not pram friendly. We were put on the 5th floor and the lift goes to even floors only. Stairs going into reception, stairs to go to the restaurant, stairs to get to the lift. Room is ok, on the small side but nice bathroom. Staff aren’t the friendliest. Hotel was being painted during our stay which isn’t very convenient either. Good location.

Hotel was lovley and modern. Staff were lovley, polite, professional and efficient. Breakfast was ok, had a wide selection for continental and cooked. Our hot food order was wrong, so waited 15 minuest for the correct order and it was a completely wrong order so after waiting a further 15 minutes we finally got the correct order. Food was passable but not amazing.

We stayed in the suite for one night and it was an amazing room for the price. Luckily we didn’t have to carry a lot as the lift doesn’t go past the 8th floor so we had to go up 2 sets of stairs to get to the 10th. Room was very clean and we’re also able to order food to the room. Would come again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Malmaison Edinburgh city hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is simply stunning. The interior design is stylish and contemporary, with a touch of elegance. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the cozy common areas. Speaking of the rooms, mine was nothing short of luxurious. It was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also top-notch, with modern fixtures and luxurious toiletries. Can’t wait to return ❤️💯

Not too great. Stayed at most of them before and found them ok and this one I didn’t like at all. The rooms were too dark with no option to set lighting so my partner found this difficult for make up. The bar was small for the hotel size and lacked a**osphere. Room lacked any shelves or draws and the wardrobe didn’t leave room for long hanging. Breakfast was not great except the eggs which were lovely. Overall we were underwhelmed from arrival to leaving. It wasn’t a cheap stay and not being value for money. The location however was excellent.

The staff were all very friendly and lovely but the lighting in the room was terrible.
