Edinburgh Leith Waterfront

Staff were excellent at check in , reception area was clean and tidy. Rooms were clean and tidy, close to shops and restaurants. Buses run frequently into Edinburgh and the trams are close by.

Regularly stay at Premier Inns' as the model and experience is the same everywhere so you know what to expect. We usually check out prices before choosing a date to stay and Premier Inn Leith Waterfront is no different. It is in a great location just at the end of the Edinburgh Tram route from New Haven to the airport. The staff are friendly, the room warm comfortable and clean and the room-view of the waterfront is beautiful if you're lucky enough to get one. I think the extra £10 charge to arrive early is a bit of a rip off but, all in all, a good hotel.

Only after I’d booked this hotel anyway, a few friends and colleagues told me they’d visited before and how wonderful it was. I would have requested a sea view room if I’d known earlier on however I was pleasantly surprised to walk through our room door and see the sunset of the Firth of Forth. Big smiles all round. Perfect location and views of the Forth Bridge from our bed! Lovely local area. The bus route runs straight past on the main road and is very regular and easy. There is a big Asda literally around the corner and a ten minute walk away is Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

Rooms very clean, bed very comfortable did find pillows a bit hard. Staff were very friendly and helpful . It was very nice to have tea making facilities in the room. Hotel very close to tram stop into Edinburgh

Ok you get what you pay for and at £45 for a standard room one night is good. Premier Inns are my first stop for value and a Goodnight sleep. I’ve even bought your pillows online. However this was not a good experience at all the hotel overall is definitely in desperate need of a refurbishment. Leith is now a very upmarket place to visit. Premier Inn Leith does not offer this at all. I would not consider staying here again

The hotel requires a full upgrade. We have stayed at Premier Inns in the past but this hotel was certainly not up to the standard of the others. Huge holes in carpets, grubby rooms in need of a complete refurbish. Tea cups in rooms had big chips evident. Only one bath towel provided for two adults. We would never stay there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Usual Premier Inn hotel, basic but clean. Ideal for base when visiting Edinburgh due to nearby tram/bus stops where you can buy a day ticket for getting around. Attached Brewer's Fayre is ok for breakfast or meal & no charge for parking, no air-con in room but there was a large fan in our room.

We were in town visiting family in Stockbridge, the PremierInn in Leith was conveniently located and good value for money with Friendly , helpful staff. The room was quite and gave us a good night's sleep.

We enjoyed another excellent stay in this Premier Inn. We booked our stay around four months ago but didn’t receive any confirmation. I phoned up and our booking was definitely on their system. We need an accessible room due to my hidden disability and everything was good for us. The bathroom looked like it had new flooring since our last visit but the bathroom still smelt of damp or mildewed shower curtain. Not a nice smell. However, this cannot take away from the quality of our stay. This hotel is like a home from home for us. I can come here knowing my needs are always met. We stay here several times a year and never have a problem. Prices are great. Our Sunday room was only £40 for the night. We stayed two nights. Busses are opposite the hotel and drop off outside too. The trams are a couple of minutes from the hotel and a great way to travel. We look forward to our next visit.
