We are use to hotels that don’t allow smoking. Accepted recreational smoking has a down side, it makes accommodations stink.

Lovely little quaint hotel. Rooms were very nice and had comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and gave excellent service. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great motel in a very good location. This is our second time to stay at this motel and we just love staying here. Quiet in late October. Easy to drive to Leland, Suttons Bay, and even Traverse City or Frankfort.

We checked in late and left early. The office was not open at either time, but provisions were made by leaving the key in a mailbox where I dropped it off the following morning. The room was spotless which I loved. Comfortable bed. Mini fridge. Wonderful stay!

It was what was needed, a clean, safe affordable place to stay while viewing the colors. A bit noisy, so very grateful for the "ambiance sound machine" the hotel provided. Nice touch! Exceptionally clean. Never met any staff, but was able to get in and out without a problem. Room cleaned each day.

Spotless, super clean, very quiet area, short walk to Sunset Beach to see the sunset , it’s too cold to swim this time of year. Rooms are spacious , and have a small table and 2 chairs, coffee & tea is supplied, small fridge and microwave. Walking distance to the Visitor Center for help with things to do around the state park area and the dunes.
(No indoor or outdoor pool)
