This is just about the most overpriced, ugly, dirty, trashy, rat pit I have ever stayed in. A good place to smoke 20 cigarettes on your balcony of crumpled astro turf while you watch cars speed by on the highway two meters away. It looks much nicer in the pictures - that’s because they are catfishing you, it’s a bait and switch. We are going to forego the breakfast that came with the room because we don’t want to put anything in our mouth that has touched this hotel. The only upside is that you check in yourself because the hotel is literally too cheap to have any staff, so there is no need to actually personally interact with anybody associated with this place.

For 212 euro a night, hotel Nordig is what you can call a rip off. Cleanliness leaves lots to be desired(stained carpets and curtains - commonal areas,are very shabbyHotel is bordering on a main road.

Well, we slept ok. Cleaning was... not bad, not great... Standard German breakfast, ok and enough, but not exciting. Walking distance to Flensburg shopping and restaurants is 3,5 km, taxi is 10-15 EUR. Overall, it's a worn-down hotel that needs more than just a quick makeover. The hotel is wrapped in staffolding so don't expect a view (Nov./Dec. 2022). Friendly and service minded staff. Parking for free behind the hotel. We stayed 2 nights. Definately prefer other hotels in the city center, but being priced twice the Hotel Nordig, we were quite happy.

We arrived at the hotel and took the back entry as we parked our car there. There were all full ashtrays next to the exit. The whole stairway smelled like ashtray and cigarettes. We were in our room and suddenly another couple opened our door as they had recieved the same code for the room as we did. Room was double booked. During our stay the room smelled like cigarettes all the time as the exit was under our balcony and everybody was smoking there and the smell entered the room. Room itself was clean and OK tough.

Code number for key box was not informed before arriving. I booked quadruple room and twin room for total 5 people, but this hotel prepared triple room and double room. He explained me that he gave us upgrade rooms, but I couldn't believe that from quadruple room to triple room is the upgrade. After long discussion, finally he changed our room for correct one. It was obvious that quadruple room is larger than triple room and number of beds are also different. His offer was downgrade room and he tried to deceive us. Only his personality was the problem in this stay. Room itself was no problem.

The rate is very high for service offered.

Mein Sohn und ich waren das erste Mal in Flensburg im Urlaub. Da es nur noch wenige Hotelzimmer gab, sind wir in diesem Hotel abgestiegen. Man kann nur online Zimmer buchen und bekommt darüber in einer separaten Mail die zugangsdaten (Code) um sowohl ins Hotel als auch ins Zimmer zu gelangen. In der Mail bekommt man auch seine Zimmernummer zugewiesen. Da uns das zu Beginn nicht klar war, und man die Besitzer schlecht telefonisch erreichen konnte, standen wir erstmal im Regen. Das Zimmer bestand aus einem großen Ehebett, zwei Schreibtische und einem Bad mit Dusche. Durch die Ausreichenden Fenster ist das Zimmer gut Licht durchflutet. Leider ist das WLAN sowohl in den Zimmer als auch im gesamten Hotel semigut. Auch konnte wir den TV im Zimmer nicht benutzen. Auch nach austauschen des Routers, konnten wir nicht Fernseh schauen. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausgewogen und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Mo-Fr von 07-09:30, am Wochenende von 8-10 Uhr. Das Hotel bietet ebenfalls einen Aufzug, sodass man sein Gepäck schmerzfrei ins Zimmer transportieren kann. Die Zimmer verfügen über einen Wasserkocher und sitzmöglichkeiten. Im Hof kann man gut parken und für alle Raucher, rauchen. Insgesamt war das Hotel für 4 Tage in Ordnung. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, man erreicht entweder in 15-30 Minuten zu Fuß die Stadt oder in 10 Minuten mit dem Bus. Total super. Ebenso befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe verschiedene Supermärkte und eine Tankstelle.
