Hillsite Smart Hotel Flims

What an amazing surprise! Hillsite Hotel Flims exceeded all of our expectations by a mile. To start with, the entire experience is contactless, making both check-in, check-out, room access, garage access super smooth. You get all the necessary codes upfront and can just focus on getting settled as relaxed as possible. No queues at reception, no unclear instructions on how to access or do what. Everything is simple and clearly explained. In addition, the room we were in was considerably more spacious than what we are used to in "mountain hotels". The two of us, together with our dog settled in for the long weekend very comfortably, with ski equipment going into a warmed room. Apropos skiing: in case you haven't noticed, the hotel is approximately 3 minutes away from the main ski lift of Flims. So, frankly you need to just wake up at a reasonable time to be one of the first on the slopes (managable even with an apres ski hangover :) ). If we would like to highlight something, the cleaning ladies we bumped into during our stay were not initially the friendliest, but let's be honest, it wasn't so bad to change our score and statement that this hotel was one of the top 3 best experiences we've had so far when it comes to places to stay at for skiing in Switzerland. Highly-highly recommended!

I am visiting next week the hotel for the second time, unfortunately once again we have unexpected injuries, ski season you know… for the second time the hotel is being considerate and this nice service is above its amazing location just next to the lift. We look forward for amazing ski and enjoying the hotel once again Highly appreciated

The price for what you get is extremely fair compared to other hotels in the region. Also it is located immediately next to the lift in the center of Flims. We were surprised as there is no staff employed in the office and you just receive a code for the garage and the room. But that was a very smooth and fast experience as the cumbersome checkin procedure could have simply dropped.

Im Grossen und Ganzen OK. Wollte ja nur schlafen. Die Mail mit den Schlüsselcodes kamen rechtzeitig und funktionierten tadellos. Das Zimmer war leider sehr klein aber sauber, das Bett war fast noch kleiner. Der Zimmerservice funktionierte unsichtbar und perfekt. Den Punkteabzug gibt's für Grösse von Zimmer und Bett.

In centro, posizione ottima vicina a tutti i servizi. Di fronte c’è un fornaio (ottimi cornetti), bar, ristoranti, affitta bike e alto. A pochi metri i centro commerciale e la fermata del bus. Ma la stanza mansardata è scomoda perché bassa, sebbene molto ampia. Assenza di personale, check-in automatico.

Soggiorno breve, una sola notte. L’hotel ha tutto il necessario, nondimeno non lo definirei “incantevole”. Punto forte, la prossimità con gli impianti di risalita (po hi passi). Nessun canale tv di lingua italiana e spazi ridotti i punti deboli.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Flims, direkt bei der Talstation. Die Zimmer sind aussergewöhnlich gross und haben Fensterfronten von oben bis unten. Die Aussicht auf und über Flims und auf die Berge dahinter ist wunderbar - jedenfalls im obersten Stockwerk. Das Haus strotzt nicht gerade vor angesagtem Style, ist aber sauber und gemütlich. Da es ein Self-Check-In-Hotel ist, habe ich tatsächlich während der ganzen drei Tage nie Personal gesehen. Störend war das nicht, aber schon etwas speziell… Und ob es Frühstück gegeben hätte, weiss ich gar nicht.
