Didn’t like the hotel from the first moment. Receptionist at the front desk that did our check in was not pleasant and friendly. We had informed about our pregnancy period and nobody assisted us neither at check in neither at check out. Breakfast poor. The room most probably never renovated too old all services and staff. We left the accommodation the next morning even so we paid for 2 nights we changed our hotel

Pros: very convenient for the train station and all the main sites are in easy walking distance if you are reasonably fit. Friendly and helpful staff. Good base to spend a few days in the city Cons: lower rooms facing onto the street can be a bit noisy at night and some noise from the redemption area although the windows shutters do a reasonable job. If you are a light sleeper in in bed before 11 you may get disturbed. Other: Breakfast area is a bit cramped, but food is fine and decent selection

We stayed here 2 nights during our European tour. It was a perfect location to tour the major sites of the city. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The AC is only run in the spring. The continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked. The staff were kind and very helpful. The street out front is nosy but quiets down at night. Hotel is not accessible because of stairs leading to the lobby and the multiple levels in each floor.

Right in the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel is an oasis of quiet but within a few minutes you are sightseeing and exploring. We had a room at the back of the hotel with windows opening to a small inside courtyard so fresh air and daylight flooded in when we opened the shutters each morning. The rooms have no fancy frills - but everything is clean and works with enough plugs to charge all of your devices. Breakfast was more than adequate with the usual fruits, meats and cheeses, cakes and breads etc and travelling with our own kettle we were able to store milk in a fridge in our room so we could make tea in our room. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the station (almost not worth the taxi if you know where you are going) and the stairs are not too terrible and there is always someone is always on hand to help with cases. Everyone was helpful and happy to give help, recommendations and advice, every guest was treated like a friend.

A lovely hotel located in a good location near lots of restaurants and bars. Room was large and I slept very well. It was quiet facing only a small yard on the inside. Not much traffic in the area which is positive. The one thing I wish was better is the size of the shower, it is rather small. But for a few days it is only a minor notice. The service is nice and friendly and with a decent breakfast I can recommend this place.

Conveniently located and within walking distance of landmarks and train station (which is around 5 minutes walk). I booked a double room for single use. The room was spacious, with an equally spacious bathroom (which has sensor light). No toothpaste and shower cream, so bring your own. The room was warm, which was so perfect during the cool season. I looked forward to getting back to my warm room after a day out. There are extra duvets in the wardrobe. The staff are polite, professional and friendly.

The Hotel Accademia is centrally located near the train station, Duomo and an easy walk to both the Accademia and Uffizi museums as well as many restaurants. The rooms were very nice as was the staff. The included breakfast had lots of options. And based on a recommendation from the concierge, we found the best gelato shop in Florence!!!

Rooms at this hotel are clean, comfortable, and roomy; our room even had an extra bed. The bathroom is updated but typically small. It’s location is convenient for visiting the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery within a 10 minute walk. Just outside the door are a jumble of retail businesses and sidewalk cafes. Highlights include the helpful, friendly staff. Shortcomings include the sparse breakfast buffet. The bottom line is that I would recommend this hotel to a friend, but note the breakfast shortcomings.

Very nice, family-run small hotel on cute side street. Close to major museums, and a short walk to just about anywhere in central Florence. Cute restaurants and coffee bars downstairs. Gelato store across the street, Excellent family restaurant down a few doors. Close to train and bus station. Easy to navigate. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again!
