RNM ザ クラブハウス グレナダ(Rnm the Clubhouse, Grenada)

Great location on the west coast. A tranqil spot hidden from hustle and bustle yet still close to the lively town of Gouyave and just a bus ride from St Georges. The accommodation was spacious and elegant with a private terrace overlooking lush hills and an ocean horizon. Do not be alarmed by the owner's dogs as they are very reserved and friendly. The room was again spacious, creatively presented, comfortable, and generously stocked with a fine class of complementary extras. Marcus, the host, was exceptional. He was very professional, conscientious, and great company. He offered to pick me up and drop me off at the nearest central hub for ease of travel. He had a genuine interest in my endeavours, and a genuine concern for my comfort and safety. He took me under his wing and kept a close eye on me while I tried to outdrink the locals. Be sure to check out John's place for your evening tipple. This is a local bar with a personal touch, just a short walk from the clubhouse. They have a great selection of drinks, including some of John's delicious home made wine. John is a cool character, very accommodating, and opened shop especially for me that evening. The clientèle that joined us later were also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was unplanned but Marcus again went beyond the call of duty to provide at short notice. The meal was very generous, uniquely presented, and rather delicious. My experience here was intimate but not intrusive. And the property offered all the ingredients for a fulfilling stay. I would highly recommend.

From the moment i booked to the drop off at the airport i can safely say this was one of the best overall places on this planet that i have ever stayed at. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport with your 7 night plus stay was a blessing and i really enjoyed the company of the taxi driver "Mr.Lay" who picked me up and who was also availed of for other trips during my stay which was also a blessing as he was extremely professional,polite,punctual and reasonably priced.-thank you Mr.Lay! The location was fairly remote but not remote enough for access to the many local shops for groceries,but remote enough to be away from the "rat race" which was what i was after. I was heartily greeted by Marcus,the proprietor and his 3 very friendly well mannered dogs,i was immediately struck by the properties surroundings from the large balcony,so green and lush and fresh. The room itself was large airy spacious and clean, with great air con,working fridge and microwave and a fab wifi connection. complimentary bottled water was supplied amonst other beverage options. The shower room was large and the shower was hot and pumping and there were plenty of fluffy white towels of all sizes,and then there were the little practical trinkets and bathroom accesseries...shower gel,conditioner and shampoo,moisturiser,toothpaste kit,shaving kit,sewing kit,cotton wool and buds,i thought i was in a top class japanese hotel with all those little extras which got well used and came in well handy! After listening to nightly sound track of the crickets with the simultaneous coinciding firefly light show you will sink into the most comfortable bed ever with equelly comfortable pillows which smelt of the best clean linen smell which was as good as any camomile tea to send you to dreamland. meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen only feet away from your room,everything in there was clean and in full working order with plenty of crockery and cutlery. gas cooker,microwave,sandwich toaster,kettle,& a washing machine which came in well handy as i had to use it a couple of times after traping through the muddy jungles. housekeeping staff did the most excellant job when they arrived,leaving the room totally replenished and refreshed,the staff were so friendly and happy and smiley! When it comes to the highlight"Marcus",i almost felt like an old friend visiting,with many chats,bartering food,fresh flowers in the room and kitchen,he even cooked me dinner,let me play my music loud,dropped me at the airport via the beach,in fact the man just could not do enough! To say i was sad leaving would be an understatement and i do hope Marcus keeps in touch as you couldnt meet a finer man! Miss you Marcus! Kensi. x
