The hallway smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathroom was looking neglected. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was well looked after by staff.

Property is well maintained. Accommodating, good breakfast. One suggestion - the second night of our stay, the people (family) in the room above were noisy when walking and could be heard in the middle of the night. The hotel did not seem to be very full and would suggest staggering the rooms when possible, like not next to another and not above a room when possible.

We stay here once a year when we see our annual play at the fireside. It is a no frill hotel in a perfect location if you are going to a play next door.

The gentlemen working at the front desk were very pleasant and welcoming. For the price, the property was a great find! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We didn't really make use of anything other than the room as it was just a quick overnight trip, so I can't comment on the rest of the property but it seemed clean and well-maintained. It was right next door to the Fireside dinner theater, which was awesome....we just walked across the parking lot and we were there! It was great! Also, didn't make it down for breakfast but it appeared it was a "full" breakfast, which would have been just fine. Again, great room for the price, and very nice people working there.

I booked late at night- near 11pm. I think rate should have been lower since I was there so short of time. The man who was at counter was very pleasant & helpful. He was still there in morning for breakfast & remembered me. Very nice guy- your welcoming & happy attitude was great! Thank you! Breakfast was fresh pancakes in a cool machine I've never seen - unique & impressive. Would've liked some eggs, sausage & fruit- there wasn't any unless it was gone? Breakfast kept open until 930am for a Sunday ( thankfully due to my arrival time!). Pancakes were very good! Shower in room is dated & needed some repairs - grout/caulk around edges & clean off the mold growing on the seams! The floor squeaks, too. Both in my room & the next one because their shower woke me up. I had a beetle crawl out of a hole in the shower seam where caulk & cleaning is needed. Shower curtain had someone's black fingerprints all over it. I pulled down the shower curtain & left notes so these 2 things would be cleaned for the next guest & hopefully always from today forward. Room & bathroom were otherwise immaculate with bed & pillows comfortable! Dark shades on window & pretty good coffee. Room smelled fresh, too, when I came in. It was nice!

The rooms were mostly vacant. Our stay was on New Years Eve. The rooms were filled right next to one another so that we were put right next to someone else making noise and partying all night. We are in our 60's and expected to get some peaceful sleep. Thanks to the management not separating the rooms being rented, there was no way to sleep. A complete waist of money!

Nice, clean hotel that is very convenient for anyone who plans on visiting the Fireside Theater, that is walking distance. The room was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was limited to a pancake machine and microwavable breakfast sandwiches.

As we are older people, television is still something we use for entertainment when relaxing in our motel room.This was not possible during this stay however. We were shown a list of channels that were supposedly available to us on the television (which was on a tablet that we had to take a picture of as there were no copies of this anywhere). The list we saw contained 46 channels. We were able to get a total of 7.

The hotel looks old from the outside but has been renovated inside and my room was very nice, clean and quiet.
