The hotel staff was incredible and very helpful. The grounds were simply beautiful with lots of places to sit and relax around the pool. If you like to bike ride, you can grab a bike out back and head to the beach which is just a few minutes away! Enjoyed breakfast every morning with family.

We spent three days in this lovely hotel. We can’t believe some of the recent comments as our experience was amazing. The staff are incredible, so helpful and kind. The food in particular the breakfast was delicious with a really good choice. The pool isn’t heated but bearing in mind this is just the start of the season we still went in for an invigorating swim! The location is amazing, a 15 minute walk to the beach or the town, you certainly don’t need a car or bike!! We did hire bikes for the day and had a lovely cycle round, it’s very flat. The rooms are modern and well maintained and the public areas are so comfortable and furnished with lovely furniture. Very highly recommended so ignore the bad reviews!!

The hotel advertises that it has a spa and wellness centre-it is managed badly with awful customer service and the massage was so bad I ended it early. When I tried to discuss this with the manager of the hotel he was nowhere to be seen for the whole three days. The brushing off and delaying of my complaint tainted the trip. The bed was comfortable but rooms were dated and old. Reception staff were lovely and helpful.

I stayed here with my wife and daughter for 2 nights. It's a great place. Decorated well and spotless. The staff are very helpful. The food is amazing (breakfast and dinner). They make a lot of it fresh on site. Beds are comfortable. Can't fault it

Luxurious amenities at affordable price point. The hotel rivals any other 5 stars "usual suspects" with its quality and attention to details for its guests. Breakfast was to die for! Parking was very convenient as well.

Lovely hotel, clean, very well kept and well run, staff are super welcoming and helpful, excellent facilities, very nice breakfast, modern well-equipped spa & sauna, loads of bikes to rent. The restaurant also has an excellent menu. Nice location not far from the seafront. Highly recommend to visit Pietra Santa nearby, just 10mins in the car, can also cycle there.

We booked this lovely looking hotel for our honeymoon having got married in Tuscany a couple of days before. We booked the most expensive suite. The hotel and the room were very nice to be fair. Great views from the fourth floor. Nice pool. Nice relaxing areas. The stay hot off to a bad start when we asked for a bucket of ice to be brought to our room and we’re presented with a €10 bill. When I asked what it was for the embarassed staff muttered something about the cost of washing up. Needless to say I declined the ice. Having asked management for an explanation we were ignored for the 5 days. To be fair the staff did give us ice the next day. It felt like they were trying to make money out of everything we did. €15 for room service. Tried to charge us €10 to borrow a bike. Despite paying a considerable sum for the room. Breakfasts were nice - but it felt like the staff everywhere were tired and bored and couldn’t really be bothered. There was one very friendly young man at breakfast who was the exception. Culmination when we checked out with a lot of luggage and no one offered to call the porter. Instead just watched me struggle out with the bags. Won’t be back. Maybe will be better at he start of the season but beware. Not high service levels you’d expect from a top quality hotel.

The St Mauritius Hotel is your home away from home in forte Dei Marmi. The hotel is just like Forte de Marmi. It's got a chill vibe, stylish Italian decor and warm attentive hospitality from the staff. Just came back from 10 days at the hotel with my family and I am missing it. I had a spacious signature suite with 2 bathrooms and a beautiful wrap-around terrace where my husband and I started every day. We loved the free bikes and the pool area was very nice as well. This is a very good choice so don't hesitate.

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds and good breakfast. Unfortunately the pool was very cold and therefore nobody used it. The hotel offers many bicycles , but be careful, if the bike gets stolen, like ours, the hotel charge you 200,- Euro. We find that the hotel should either insure their bikes or inform you about it once you get the bike.
