We had a wonderful stay at McFarlin House. Richard was very personable and suggested interesting places to visit nearby. The inn is beautifully decorated in period antiques and there's a great porch swing to enjoy after dinner. We loved our room, the delicious breakfasts and special dinner. Enjoyable 3 day stay.

My husband and I were in town for the annual Porchfest which was so fun. We decided to stay at the McFarlin House overnight and we're glad we did. Richard was the consummate host. He was so friendly and easy to talk with. He also prepared a delicious breakfast! Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Coffee and snacks were available outside our room. The interior of the home is full of high-end antiques and collectibles. Thanks again, Richard.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful bed-and-breakfast at the McFarlin house. The breakfast was very filling with fresh fruit , pastry, pancakes, sausage and eggs with plenty of juice and coffee. Each room was large with each one having its own restroom and very clean and well taken care of with antiques throughout the house. The beautiful porch around the house was a fun place to sit and enjoy the well maintained grounds. I bet in the summer with the magnolia trees blooming It’s very fragrant too.! Interesting history from the upbeat owners which we enjoyed. Something we would never know about if we had stayed on the interstate staying at the big hotels. We drove around the cute town of Quincy, Florida and had a great dinner at the Chop House. We will definitely recommend this place and will be staying there again!

our stay at the McFarlin house exceeded our expectations greatly, the home is a true gem, the photos cannot truly show it's magnificence,it does have to be experienced in person.the decorating of rooms is stylish and fitting for each room and the home itself . hosts are extremely caring and accommodating, breakfast excellent. wonderful stay.

It is a wonderful historic mansion, 11K square feet of beautifully restored space. The hosts are very nice, rooms are unique and clean (and as I told them cleaner than most hotels we stay in), breakfast was great all 3 days and filling. Most of all, it was just peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for as we hung out on the porch rocking chairs and swing.

This charming B&B is our favorite place to stay when we visit our children in Tallahassee. It is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. The owners are extremely hospitable and gracious, and the breakfast is awesome. We love the McFarlin House!!!

We have stayed at the McFarlin house three times and every time it has been wonderful. The hosts are so accommodating and try to make their guests as comfortable as possible. The house is charming and retains a lot of the original tobacco mansion vibe minus the smell of tobacco of course. We are looking forward to our next stay for FSU graduation in May.

Absolutely spectacular Bed and Breakfast experience our room Victorian Elegance was beautiful and spacious!! The house abd grounds were stunning . Fantastic breakfast !! We will return to this B and B again!!!

The McFarlin House BnB is a beautiful place to visit…. The Owners, Richard & Tina, exemplify what it means to be Hosts of a Bed & Breakfast…. They have a rich knowledge of the history of the House and the surrounding area… And Richard prepares one of the best breakfasts you will ever have… The McFarlin Is like walking through a time portal in Florida’s history and experiencing a time when life was a bit slower, and southern charm and hospitality were the order of the day… Richard took us on a tour of this beautiful historic home… Each room with its own theme, creating an atmosphere of historic charm of its own within the overall grace & charm of the entire House… You could stay at one of the very nice Hiltons or other chains off the interstate, but you would then miss out on what Florida Southern Charm and history are all about…
